Conveying Ideas with Interesting Content.
Today I am publishing my hundredth post since I started to be part of the writers that make life in read.cash, that's seven months ago. Being on this platform has motivated me to be better at writing every day. Like every beginning, the first contents were of "exploration". I had no idea how to "put together" in an interesting way the ideas I wanted to transmit, how to transmit all the ideas I had in my mind? That was and still is, my main concern when writing.
My first publications were, metaphorically speaking, like "a baby taking its first steps", I wanted to run and I didn't know-how. This is not to say that today I can express my ideas without stumbling, not at all, I still lack 100 or more publications to reach the category of a good writer, but right now I feel that I "crawl like a baby", with more security.
At the beginning, and I still do, I focused my attention on the way the writers I read and who publish on read.cash narrate their content. Each writer has a particular and different style of storytelling. It is very interesting to discover the personality of the writer in each content. We have writers with many interesting contents of their life routine, personal experiences, past and present experiences, a lot of futuristic vision and above all we have a world of knowledge of content narrated in an informative way for experts who dominate the subject of the crypto world and another way of narrating in an educational way for those who like me are looking for simple and easy to understand information on the subject of cryptocurrencies, content that we are all passionate about. I confess without any problem that I am still like Socrates when he said his famous phrase; "I only know that I know nothing", that is, I am in "diapers and crawling".
I am comforted to know that I am not the only person looking for a narrative way to put together interesting ideas and how to translate those amazing ideas into even more interesting and impactful content. The main advice I can humbly give to all the people who are just starting to publish is that the best tool a writer has to improve their content is the constant practice of publishing posts, as well as reading and commenting on other writers' content on the read.cash platform. Today I publish my 100th article and I'm still learning how to write content. I have improved a bit. Today I want to tell, according to my experience, how to write good content in four steps.
**First step:** We have to start with a motivating topic, here we are often uninspired or lack ideas. It happens to me a lot, it's hard for me to find ideas. But you have to focus on a topic, any topic can be useful, a trip you made in the past, a lost love, experiences with your children, celebration meetings with the family, current issues, the most important thing is to write about some knowledge that you master. It is important that it is a motivating topic, that creativity drives you to the need to tell a story. Telling stories of personal experiences is a good exercise to acquire creative writing. The beginning of a story is of utmost importance because if you make an uninteresting beginning you will not be able to capture the reader's attention.
Once you have the topic to write about, the **second step** is to think about the effect you want to convey to the reader. Do you want your content to be a topic of reflection? a mystery? a humorous content that makes you laugh? a constructive criticism? an andragogic teaching content? you must think about it very well. You have to be clear about the effect you will have on the readers. The interest you awaken in the reader will depend on whether they will continue to read you in the future.
As a **third step,** I recommend that you think about who is going to tell the story, yes, who will be the protagonist of your narrative. The story you write will be told by you or by an imaginary friend who will tell the story. In many of my publications, I narrate them as the protagonist, like today's for example, telling my personal experience of reaching the number 100 in my posts, in other stories I invent the protagonist who has nothing to do with me.
**As the last step**, taking into account that you already know the theme, you know what you are going to transmit, and you know who will tell the story, now we have to set a final goal, to make the masterful closing of the story. The important thing is to make an interesting closing, even asking questions to the reader so that the literary bond between writer and reader is not lost, thus maintaining interest on the part of the reader to comment on what he or she has read at the end of your story.
In conclusion, I can only say to you: write! Don't stop writing. When you write you will practice, each content will improve, your own experience when publishing will give you the guidelines to grow in your personal development as a writer. The more content you publish, the better you will get at writing over time and you will be rewarded with more people reading, commenting, and following your stories. This is from a new writer who today publishes her hundredth post and seeks to convey ideas with interesting content.
Tell me about your experience as a writer?
Does it take you time to go through the steps to write good content?

The Balance between Fury and Serenity
Today's morning was cool, with a lot of desire to rain because the breeze and the sky with clouds loaded with rain seemed to indicate so. Although sometimes it doesn't happen as one predicts, because the weather is so "crazy" that it can happen that in a while we have a burning sun. But the weather provoked me to go for a walk and so I did, I put on comfortable clothes and my tennis shoes to go to the gym, looked for the house keys and closed the door behind me.
I like to walk when the weather is cool, while I was walking I was remembering the things I had done in the early hours of the morning. My thoughts started to flow and they were precisely what happened in the morning with my oldest son. This week he has leave from work to stay at home because in his work environment convid19 is going around. There are many cases of colleagues who are infected and must be quarantined at home. So the management, as a preventive measure for those who are healthy, ordered the employees to stay at home. Today my son has to deliver an inventory report of the company's technological and telecommunication equipment in the western part of the country and he was going to do it by videoconference with the company's manager. When he was ready and waiting for the time for the videoconference (11 a.m.) the power went out in the area, goodbye videoconference at home, welcome stress!
Everything got complicated at that moment. The laptop didn't have much battery, so he saved the information on a flash drive. But my son was already in the grip of anxiety and started pacing back and forth around the house. Then he made a call and confirmed with a colleague who has a car to come for him and take him to work because there in that company when they need information no one stops them, no power outage, no rain, no covid19. It really is a stressful job.
I worked three years of my working life there in that company some time ago and I remember that on one occasion I had to do some work in a community two hours outside the city, but an hour away the transport could not continue because we reached a fallen bridge that crosses a river and we had to go to the community that was located on the other side of the bridge, an hour more on the road. Neither the fall of the bridge, nor other multiple situations stopped the management, since we crossed the bridge but walking and on the other side another transport of the company was waiting for us. We did this for more than three months until the bridge was fixed. Those were times of a lot of experience in terms of challenging the circumstances that prevented us from continuing with the work. And of many strong emotions that I had to manage since I was coordinating a large number of personnel, more than 250 people crossing a bridge on foot and transferring in more than 10 bus units. A lot of logistics and a lot of strong emotions to manage.
At that time I had to endure many changes in my emotions. And today as I was walking I remembered that part of my working life. Today my oldest son is experiencing it. In fact before he left for work I advised him to take it easy and he replied that I knew how stressful it was to meet with the manager because I had worked there for three years.
Being able to withstand the strong emotions to which we are subjected by the circumstances that we sometimes live is what we must learn, to have self-control is a virtue that is learned over time. It is what we call having emotional intelligence. The goal is balance, not the suspension of emotions: each feeling has its value and meaning.
A life without showing emotions, without passion would be a boring behavior of emotional neutrality, it would give the sensation of being isolated and separated from the richness of life itself. When emotions are too muted they create boredom, but the other extreme is not good either because if emotions are out of control and too extreme and persistent, they become pathological.
The art of self-soothing is a fundamental life skill. People who have learned to use breathing and relaxation strategies have succeeded, and many times they have also succeeded in calming themselves through prayer. These are strategies that are learned over time and that, when put into practice, automatically eliminate any emotional disturbance from the consciousness.
Of course, the question remains as to whether one can learn to control one's emotions. Is it really possible not to become aware of the circumstances around us that produce strong emotions, or do we simply feign serenity?
In other words: Does work stress disturb you or do you remain serene?
To conclude I will tell you that the weather changed after I came back from walking, the whole afternoon was hot with strong sun, but I still kept calm because I was alone at home.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Thanks to my followers and sponsors for staying emotionally serene and attentive to my content. You are the best.

Depression in disguise.
It is amazing how a young professional, enterprising 30-year-old woman, did not free herself from the silent clutches of depression, so it happened last January 30 with Cheslíe Kryst. A successful woman of many talents. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/31/us/cheslie-kryst-dead.html
She had earned a law degree, a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in business from Carolina University where she was a track athlete. Cheslie Kryst, a beautiful 30-year-old became known in the United States for being the winner of the Miss USA pageant in 2019. When she handed over her reign she was hired to work as a correspondent on a television show called "Extra". For her work as a correspondent, she was nominated in two consecutive years for Emmy Awards. She also worked as a backstage entertainer for the past two Miss Universe pageants. In addition to working in her profession as a lawyer, Cheslíe Kryst had a fashion blog called "White Collar Glam". As she commented on her blog, she said, "someday I will have a line of work clothes".
That "someday" never will come because her body was found lifeless after she jumped from a Manhattan apartment building and was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday morning. Hours earlier she posted a message on her instagram account, "May this day bring you rest and peace."
Depression is disguised as happiness, laughter, triumph, many things that people want to show to the outside world, giving a false image that everything is going well, but, what about the inner being? what is not seen, what happens to the mind? that is only known and felt by the people who suffer from it, suffer internally, fall into a strong depression in their solitude, behind closed doors in their room. That could very well be the case of Cheslíe Kryst, taking into account the artistic and professional world in which she operates. The depression she suffered hid it from the outside world, disguised it as joy and triumph.
The only emotional state that people generally try to overcome is sadness. Most people are more inventive when it comes to freeing themselves from a prolonged period of sadness. Melancholy like any other mood has its benefits. Sadness reinforces a kind of reflective withdrawal from life's activities, especially when faced with the loss or closure of a cycle or stage of life. It leaves us in a state of suspense to mourn the loss, makes us reflect on what happened and finally make the necessary adjustments, both psychological and new plans, in moving forward in our life. We try to go out, distract ourselves, dance, sing, walk. Grief is useful, genuine depression is not. With depression, mental health measures must be taken.
Depression has various frightening manifestations that the sufferer may hide from the outside world. Many people may feel self-hatred, the feeling that they are worthless as a person, a sadness that pervades their whole being, a strong sense of fear of situations around them, and above all a suffocating anxiety. They can also manifest themselves intellectually with a strong confusion in the areas of work, low mental concentration, and memory failures, all these manifestations erase any pleasant sensation of the outside world. There are also the physical effects: insomnia, extreme apathy, a kind of daze, but more extreme a strange fragility, a lot of restlessness. There is also the loss of pleasure, everything seems insipid, as well as meals. Finally, there is the fading of all hope, which will become as palpable as physical pain. A so unbearable pain, that the solution seems to be suicide.
In a depression as important as the one described, the sufferer's life is paralyzed, as if it were in a waiting period. Nothing matters anymore.
We must be attentive to these symptoms that could manifest in a relative, a loved one, a friend, even ourselves. We are the eyes and senses, alert to any strong, constant, and profound change in emotional health because, as in the case of today's story of young Cheslíe Kryst, depression is a silent killer, depression disguised as happiness and success. It is up to us to support by detecting any manifestation of depression in time to avoid a tragedy.
In some countries, such as the USA, there are foundations for suicide prevention. According to data researched for this article, suicide is one of every ten deaths in the world. While depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide. And according to the World Health Organization, it will be the leading health problem by 2050. In 2019 alone, when Cheslíe Kryst won her crown in the USA, in that country 47,500 people took their own lives.
When faced with any need for support and help never hesitate to seek it, life is only one and irreplaceable, let's take care of our mental health and that of our family and friends.
Thank you for reading and commenting.

Happiness is there, just around the corner.
I arrived at the requested address and honked the horn of my cab, after waiting a few minutes I honked it again and after waiting without getting any answers I thought about leaving, but since it was the last race of the day I decided to park my vehicle and go to the door to ring the bell.
- Wait just a minute," answered an old man's voice over there.
I could hear something crawling on the floor. After a few minutes the door opened. A small woman in her late 90s, I think, stood in front of me, wearing a patterned dress and a veiled hat that looked like a movie character from the 1940's. Next to her was a small nylon suitcase.
The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years, all the furniture was covered with sheets, there was nothing on the walls, no utensils or anything, and in one corner you could see a cardboard box full of photos and glassware.
- Would you please take my luggage to the car?, sir.
I took the luggage to the vehicle and then I came back to help this woman. She took my arm and walked very slowly to the cab. She thanked me for my kindness in the treatment and I replied that it was nothing.
- I love to treat my passengers as I would like to be treated myself. I told her.
- Oh, you are such a boy," she said.
When we got to the cab she gave me an address written on a piece of paper. And then she asked:
- Gentleman, could you go through the downtown first?
- Ma'am it's not the shortest way.
- I don't mind, I'm not in a hurry. I'm going to a nursing home to be taken care of, she said.
I looked in the rearview mirror and saw her eyes sparkle.
- I have no family, the doctor said I don't have much time left, she said in a sweet voice.
I discreetly stopped the meter.
- Which way would you like me to go ma'am? I said.
For the next two hours, I drove around the city. She showed me the building where she worked as an elevator operator, we passed the building where she and her husband lived when they were newlyweds, she made me stop in front of a furniture store that was once a dance hall where she used to go dancing as a young girl. Sometimes she would have me stop in front of a particular building or on a street corner and she would stare blankly in thought without saying anything.
When the sun began to join the horizon she suddenly said:
- I am tired, I would like us to go to the old people's home now.
I drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a small building with a simple nursing home with a door leading to an alley. Two nurses came out and headed for the cab, they seemed very considerate and were keeping a close eye on the woman's movements. They were obviously waiting for her arrival, I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already sitting in a wheelchair.
- How much do I owe you," she said as she opened her bag and looked at me.
- Nothing," I replied with a smile.
- You have to earn a living," she said.
- There will be other passengers," I replied.
Without thinking I leaned over and gave her a hug, she hugged me tightly.
- You gave this old lady a moment of joy, thank you," she said in an excited voice. I shook her hand and turned around.
I will never forget that look and that hug. Behind me a door closed, it was the sound of a life-ending. I took no more passengers that night. I drove aimlessly for quite a while, lost in thought. I hardly spoke for the rest of the night, just wondering what would have happened if the woman had had to deal with an angry or impatient driver, or if I had left without waiting after honking my horn several times. On second thought, I don't think I have done anything more important in my life than what happened on that day....
I wanted to share this story because we can't continue to go through life unnoticed like this, because sometimes we believe that our life revolves around big moments, but the big moments are usually in reality beautiful little moments, like the protagonist of our story today. If we don't pay attention to the little moments we will miss big moments.
You know what? Our actions, no matter how small, can bring a smile to someone's face, and many times those same actions give us pleasant moments in our lives. I have learned that everything happens for a reason, that people don't meet by chance. We are part of a master plan. God knows who we will meet along the way and what lesson we will learn.
You know, true happiness lies in making others happy, that is indisputable. Are you looking for happiness in your pride or loneliness? you are wrong. It is necessary to reconsider what you are doing today to help all those around you and those who make up that inner circle or that social circle. Happiness is linked to the empathy you feel for the needs of others, to be happy I think you have to start sowing in others.
Happiness is not as far away as we sometimes believe or as the media tells us, I believe that happiness is there, just around the corner, we are part of a master plan. Never lose sight of the small details and I believe we have to become better people every day.

A Virtual Hug.
A few days ago the day of the hug was celebrated. And how much a hug was really needed. These days of January have been lethargic. I have a feeling that time has come to a standstill. All these first days of the year feel as if they were passing without grace or direction. I feel like stagnation in all aspects of my daily routine. Do you know why I needed a hug...? I was in low spirits, even to write. I was, past tense.
In the evenings, I was texting my contacts to have a conversation with some of them because I wasn't sleepy at all. And in the mornings getting up late, of course, if I was up late, it's logical that in the morning it's hard to get up early. I do my usual prayer, that if I have not stopped doing. Thank you my God for all the things you give me even without deserving it.
What I feel is not physical exhaustion. I feel physically strong, with energy although I haven't felt like going to the gym this week, I only went on Monday, the other days of the week I stayed at home. I also stopped going for a few days because several people from the gym called the instructor to express that they feel sick with the flu, so I stopped going preventively. Next week I will resume my workout routine at the gym. It's not depression either because I'm not that desperate. Sometimes I am a little sad and pensive. As if my melancholic personality comes to the surface.
I was also lethargic about writing. I have spent the last few days without literary inspiration. In fact, I haven't published anything for a week. I apologize for this abandonment to the followers of my contents. Part of the discouragement to write is attributed to the low economic income that makes January a month of low monetary income in general. January represents low income after going through a month of massive consumption as December was.
I have been in the doldrums for several days now, but today I reflected on my emotional state and decided that it was enough time without writing, that my lethargy was enough. So today I start again to move everything. I start writing even if it is just writing what I think, as is the case here. I need to generate money and sitting or sleeping I generate nothing. It only contributed to increasing my lethargy. So I shake it off and get moving.
Sometimes we need a powerful word to encourage us to continue writing. We need someone to help us connect emotionally, to help us emphasize the need to continue, to not falter, to keep communicating through this platform. Here I have gotten excellent people who through their comments have helped me to continue researching and creating new content. So today I raise my arms and take a hand to my heart to ask for forgiveness and thank God almighty and also to so many people I have met while writing. I throw a virtual kiss to all of you and an imaginary hug to each of my readers who still follow me and also to the people who sponsor me. I apologize for the lethargy that caused my departure.
I have the feeling that I am not the only one experiencing this feeling of lethargy in January. I say this because in the past few days I was talking to some friends of mine and they also expressed that they were a bit sad and worried, especially because they had no money. January is tough, isn't it?
I am a positive, optimistic person, always giving a word of encouragement to other people, but I am not perfect. Sometimes I give myself permission to have an emotional relapse. I give myself my right to express my emotions and say when I am not in good spirits, I also have my times of sadness and discouragement. But I don't allow myself to be discouraged for too long, I shake off all negative thoughts and put myself in God's hands, I leave all my burdens in Him and I activate myself in a new beginning full of faith and hope that better times will come.
Now, has it been just me having this feeling of lethargy...going through a January full of ups and downs, or has anyone else experienced this feeling.
I look forward to your comments
Thank you all, you are the best. I send you a virtual hug.

Passing the friendship ball.
I invite you to imagine for a moment that the whole world has 24 hours of existence left, it is just an exercise of imagination, please do not run away, just imagine that we were told: the world is ending gentlemen!... what would happen?.. what would you do? I imagine that the phone lines, chat rooms, emails, all the social networks would be saturated with people communicating with someone to say goodbye words like these: "I'm sorry I said what I said, I'm sorry I didn't look for you before, I love you, forgive me, I didn't mean to make you feel bad, I love you, I esteem you, you take care" and many would also be writing the message they have kept in their hearts without daring to say it until now, but they say it when they only have 24 hours left: "I always loved you but I never told you".
When I analyze these things I start thinking and fantasizing in my mind about so many things. I think that life is like a ball, like a circle, let me explain why I say so, because the ball has no beginning and has no end, and that ball keeps us all together inside as if it were a circle of friends, but do you know something? the treasure inside each one of us is like the air that the ball has because we cannot touch it but we can feel it, and that feeling is the treasure of friendship, that maybe you have given me and you have not realized or that I have given you and you have not realized because I have not seen you, I have not touched you, but I feel the love and affection that you have given me.
Today I pass that friendship ball to you because I don't know to whom you have stopped saying those words that we don't have to stop saying, we don't have to be in crisis to say them. I believe that we have to understand that at all times we must love our friend who is like a brother in times of anguish and in times of peace. The love of a friend does not have to be conditioned to anything. I don't have to wait for Friendship Day, Valentine's Day to tell you that your friendship is good for me, that I am grateful to God for your messages, for your comments, for your advice.
At all times love your friends, even without knowing them, in times of prosperity or abundance is easy but to love a friend when he fails is not. We always condition situations with friends. We really have to reflect if we are good friends or if we are considered good friends. That is to say that the love of a friend does not have to be conditioned to anything.
I have few friends. I have friends of years, that now I do not see them because geographical distances separate us but I always write to them and sometimes we remember episodes of the past, funny moments that made us laugh in their time and that when we remember make us laugh like the first time. I keep in touch through the networks with former coworkers of years. I maintain that special bond of fraternity with childhood friends who over time are like family.
And I have a very special friend for me. With him it's like conversing without any taboos, it's like when you talk to each other out loud and you expect a sincere answer, from the soul, without any problem that neither of us will bother. We have a friendship of much more than 10 years. We live in different cities, we don't write each other very often but when many days go by we miss each other. And we only need to write to respond with those special, affectionate, affectionate words, as if no time has passed. It is a friendship where we respect our private lives but at the same time we use a very affectionate language. We both feel good with each other. It is a beautiful friendship, special and unique. And you know why it is for me special and unique, because it has been more than 10 years and we have never met in person. We have never called each other on the phone, we don't know each other's ringing voices, we only know each other by photos and we send them to each other very few times. We only talk through written messages. I affectionately call him "my invisible friend". Someday if God allows me I would like to meet him in person, he lives in Caracas. God's timing is perfect. Today I pass that friendship ball to him because I want to meet him before the world ends.
Today I invite you if you have someone that you consider special but you still don't dare to tell him/her, I pass you the friendship ball. Go ahead, tell them how much you appreciate their friendship.
Who do you pass the friendship ball to?
My sponsors and supporters are also my invisible friends. I don't know but you have my constant thanks for your support in following my posts. You are the best.

Make the Most of your Time
I think we have to analyze our lifestyle especially in the way we are spending our time, we have to use optimally the present that we live because sometimes we stay in yesterday, tomorrow nobody knows what will be, so today's challenge is "take advantage of your time".
There is a study that surprised me when I read it and I wanted to share it today, it is a study that some analysts did on people in a time of 72 years of life. According to the study, we spend 21 years sleeping, 14 years working, 7 years in the bathroom, 6 years eating, 6 years traveling, 5 years waiting in lines, 4 years learning, 3 years in meetings, 2 years returning phone calls, one year looking for lost things, 22 months in church, 8 months opening useless mail, six months waiting at traffic lights.
Now you will tell me: "Where is that study from?" it is a study of an average of many people, of course, it is not yours, because you will tell me that you do not spend all that time in a traffic light, or you do not spend it taking a bath, well it is an average study that specialists did with many people in 72 years and this analysis in relation to time is the result of the study.
Now how surprising is this, it is surprising that a couple spends on average per day, according to this study, four minutes talking and the children say: "let's go look for my dad to see if we can talk to him" because the studies indicated that parents spend on average 30 seconds per day talking to their children. So this makes me think about how we are using our time. How you use your time, you regularly say: "I don't have time"... right, "I don't have time"... "time is not enough"... could it be that God did wrong by creating a day with only 24 hours... because time is not enough for all that we have to do?
No, I do not believe that God misused time by creating a 24 hour day, God is perfect and knew how to give us a general administration of all the aspects of our life, all the activities even with the days, hours, minutes, seconds and it was a man who invented the calendar to leave the time in a tangible form. But sometimes the calendar deceives us, a year is on the calendar only with the number of days there are, what we want to use depends on us. For example, a person can do activities in a week that he would do in a year and another person could do the opposite, spend a whole year doing something that could be done in a week, right?... So, it all depends on how one uses his time. The problem is not having enough time, but how we use the time we have, how we manage it.
The key here is how to manage time, which can be learned, how to use time diligently, how to learn to manage time efficiently. We have to analyze our lifestyle, where are you spending your time, what are you spending it on, I am talking about physical, mental, emotional, in all these aspects. We have to use the time in the present, in today, because sometimes we stay in yesterday, tomorrow we do not know what will be, we have to learn to take advantage of the present. Tomorrow is what we have to work on today.
But sometimes we stay in that time behind, in the past, we have to start leaving the disorder in our life, that physical disorder, things that occupy our vision in a negative way, that mental disorder, things that are occupying our mind in a negative way, that emotional disorder, things that are occupying our spirit in a negative way. We have to "rescue" the time we use. To rescue means, to return, to liberate, to change, then we have to prioritize and make the best of the time we have.
Whether you take advantage or waste your time is your decision and life will show how you have taken advantage of it, so today's challenge is: take advantage of your time. Don't waste it.
How do you make the most of the time you have available in your daily routine?
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
I thank my followers and sponsors for taking the time to read my posts. You are the best.

Succeed or Be Defeated, it's up to you.
Have you ever felt disappointed in your life?... (because I have)... in fact it would be rare, not to say strange, for us to go a week without experiencing some kind of discouragement. In the strongest cases, we have sometimes been discouraged for days. Not wanting to get out of bed. This is not our case, but there are people who seem to be under "black clouds" every day, always in a bad mood, pessimistic about life. For these people, pessimism is their natural state.
Many people go through life devastated, as if they can't cope anymore and this happens because maybe they have not learned to deal with problems. Why do I say this? Because God's will is not for one to live today, or any other day, discouraged, devastated, oppressed. As soon as one feels discouraged, one must stand up and resist those discouraging circumstances, full of discouragement, sadness and put all our hope in God. It is important that we keep positive thoughts. It seems to be something difficult, but it is mental control, it is thinking and acting, it is having hope that God is in control of every situation and that we must trust in His Word.
No matter what you have lost or how bad you feel today, you have the ability to direct your thoughts towards the positive or if you want to stay towards the negative, the decision is yours. Only you can transform your thoughts towards what you want in life. Keep your mind in the present, positive, it is up to you.
Joy and happiness are born from within our being, every day you can choose to be full of misery, sadness or have the joy of the Lord. We can choose whether we are going to be miserable or live in the fullness of life that God has provided for us.
There are strategies that we need to use to defeat those negative thoughts, we have to think and push with dynamism, do not remain motionless in a chair without doing anything, waiting for your problems to disappear as if by magic, that will not happen, the problems do not disappear, on the contrary they can increase if we do not face them. We have to act in a positive way, we have to plan, we have to make a strategy as when one prepares for a battle, on how to defeat the circumstances that have us in a negative emotional state, which does not allow us to move forward.
We have to work attentively, everything that is in your hands, do it well, with effort, with determination, do not face any task with fear, do not face something with the desire to escape, with a defeated mind, face it with a triumphant mind. Do it with the conviction that you will be victorious, with winning thoughts.
Succeed or be defeated... it is up to you... strive and overcome... God is in control of everything.
What strategies do you apply in your daily life when you have thoughts of defeat?
I look forward to your comments, thanks for following my posts.

The Key That Opens the Door to Success.
There is a story I want to tell you today about a boy who one day was fishing and an old man was fishing near him. This boy was having quite a bit of success fishing, he was pulling fish in and out of the water, but what was remarkable was not how many fish he caught but what he did once he caught them. The boy would take each fish in his hand and measure it. If the fish was longer than his hand he would return the fish to the water, only keeping the small ones. Curiosity at seeing this prompted the old man to ask: "Hey, why are you keeping only the small fish and throwing the big ones back into the water? The boy answered: "Sir, I can't keep the big ones because I have a frying pan that is only 20 centimeters long".
So this story makes me think a little about those expectations that you have of yourself, that do not allow you to see how big you can be, the great things that can come into your life, because I believe that many people have "shrunk" because they limit themselves to that "20 centimeters frying pan". They do not think bigger, they do not see beyond what they only have in front of them, they do not act for more, they do not expect more, they always think: "no, that is not possible, I do not think I will get there, I do not think that opportunity will open up, I do not think that will happen for me", and instead of expanding their expectations, widening and expanding their horizon, increasing those expectations, we only reduce that potential and "shrink" all hope.
Many people fail when they realize that their expectations limit the height of their possibilities, it is impossible to achieve success if we do not expect it, if we do not prepare ourselves to receive it. Why are many people not receiving miracles in their lives? Why? Because it is not for me... because the expectation, the "personal expectrometer" tells me that it is not for me. It expired, because maybe one day you had dreams and now you have doubts.
Maybe the future looked bright and now it looks blurry, the best days to come were clouded by bitter days, days of the past and you are in trouble, of course, if this is what is happening to you I say you have to revitalize your "expectrometer", adopt the principles that God wants for you, for example, your life should be influenced by your expectations not by your experience. Our life should be influenced by our expectations not by the past.
You know something... Moods are deceptive. People sometimes receive good news and feel happy and for a while, they are full of happiness, but suddenly they face a challenge and that's as far as they are happy. One day they are happy and the next day they don't even want to get out of bed. So at times during a state of happiness, there are decisions that are made that are in the best interest of the person but they are emotional. Decisions should be made based on evidence and be reasonable, not during moments where the "emotional tide" is high, so emotionally I'm fine at that moment, that's why you don't have to make decisions in the face of strong emotional moments because you may fail. Expectations should not be based on the emotional, on what I am today, but on what I hope to become someday, that is to say that your expectations cannot be based on what happened in your family, on what happened yesterday, on your past, but on what God is going to do with you. That is where a miracle is going to happen.
Do you know what is the key that opens the door to many miracles?
It is that "expectrometer" inside of you. Revitalizing your expectations should be your next move towards success. Cheer up!

Giving Small Details.
A painting student was finishing his painting work, when he was approached by his painting teacher and for a while after observing he asked the student for the palette and brushes, with great dexterity he gave a few strokes here and there. When the teacher returned the brushes to the student, the painting had changed remarkably. The student was astonished, before his very eyes the work had gone from mediocre, so to speak, to something sublime. Almost with reverence the student said to the teacher: "teacher, how is it possible that with a few touches, with a few simple details this painting has changed so much?" and the teacher replied "it is in those small details that art lies".
This story that I am telling you makes me think about today's content. If we look at things more slowly and analyze, we realize that everything in life is details. The big events have dazzled us so much that sometimes it prevents us from seeing those small miracles that surround us every day. Simple examples such as a little bird singing in a tree, in the garden, looking at a flower, taking a picture, a child who comes and hugs us with the most sincere embrace, these are examples of details that when added together make a difference in the existence of each one of us.
All relationships, family, marriage, partnership, courtship, friendship are based on details, maybe you can't make it up by doing very big things, titanic, but probably you can do small details that make a difference.
There will be moments that you may not have to give a good gift, but a good word, a good prayer, a strong hug will also make a difference. No one is asking you in this content to do difficult or almost impossible things, to prove friendship you don't need that, but you can start giving small details. There are those who spend their time waiting for an opportunity to show their love for someone, but you know what is sad, the sad thing is that while waiting for that great opportunity they miss many others, which are small, which are simple, which are modest, but which are significant. Life can go by without the other person receiving that little something from you.
Sometimes we think that if we win the lottery it would be the best, I win the lottery and I'm happy! it may be a majestic fact, yes, it can change your life but that is not true because it is not full of joy, money is not happiness, in truth happiness is secured in small things, in details that are seasoned day by day, are those details that we put that give that color to the existence of each of us, so today in this content I want to say: do not be fooled too easily by things that are apparently beautiful, but the simple things we can not dismiss, those little things, I repeat that flower, that little bird, a text message, a pat on the shoulder, a word of encouragement, a sincere hug, all that may seem little but it will never be insignificant, never, never will be insignificant.
Today I want to tell you in this content that please don't forget you and I make the difference. Let's go out to surprise, to impact the world, let's thank God for the wonderful things he has done in the world to fill each of our existence with small details. Sometimes we have thought that happiness is like winning the lottery, I win the lottery and I am happy!... but that is not true because it is not full of joy. In truth, happiness is based on little things. Let's surround ourselves with those little things, I invite you to just look for a moment, feel, appreciate those details that will make us feel that we are happy.
Have you ever thought about giving small details to your loved ones?
I invite you not to think about it for a long time, do not miss that opportunity of happiness with the people you love.
Happy beginning of the year 2022, I wish you all the wonderful things in life, those happy moments surrounded by small details. Happy new year to all my followers and sponsors, I appreciate the detail that you are still here with me. You are the best.

A New Beginning in 2022.
When we go through emotional crises it is something similar to a 100-meter hurdle race, where it seems that since we left the finish line we have not stopped giving all our effort to move forward, but at the end of the race there comes a time when we stop everything, we pause, we reflect and determine that it is time to start again. We are physically and emotionally exhausted but we reflect that it is time to be happy. At the end of each stage we must be grateful. It is time to start again and it is time to be grateful.
We need a new beginning in life, we need to live again in full inner peace, in happiness. Our Heavenly Father specializes in helping us to start over. We begin to forgive, to stop hating, to not hold grudges. We want to have a new heart, Our Heavenly Father in his word promises us to transplant new hearts, his Word gives us that hope of faith when he tells us, "And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit will I put within them; and I will take the stony heart out of the midst of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh." Ez. 11:19.
There comes a moment of reflection in this process of starting over, and we begin to want to do new activities, things that we had stopped doing or had put on hold, like going to the gym, going to the movies, meeting new friends and above all we want to get away from loneliness, but at the same time we want to get closer to God. We want to activate our being to the life we had left behind. We ask in prayer that this new stage will be a blessing, and the Word assures us that it will be so: "Behold, I do a new thing; it shall soon come to light; shall you not know it? Again I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Is. 43:19
We thank God for the new life in the closing of a relationship, but we also have to reflect on how to conduct ourselves from now on, we must not repeat the same patterns of behavior so as not to obtain in the future the same results that would lead us again to a failure in the future. I have always said that if we do not change our mind and the way we act we will get the same results in life. In another way of looking at it is like making a recipe that you have always made without changing anything. If you do not change the ingredients you will always get the same dish. Change your mind, your attitude to improve and not repeat patterns that have led you to failure. God in His Word tells us how to do it: "As for the former manner of life, put off the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and holiness of the truth." Eph. 4:22-24.
We are grateful to start again, with a new attitude, without thinking about the past, about that relationship that ended, that we forgive from the heart, and we ask God that everything we do from now on be all new so that at no time will it affect a new relationship. In His Word we ask and believe it from the heart in, "For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, neither shall it come into mind any more." Is. 65:17.
Of course, life continues and should be of daily thanksgiving to God for all the new things He gives us in health, in happiness, in abundance, for His great love for us in: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor. 5:17
There are only a few days left until the end of the year. Looking back we realize that it has been a very difficult year in many aspects of the life of each one of us. Many homes will have an empty chair at the table, in many homes the family, at the moment of the last bell announcing the end of the year, will raise their eyes to heaven with tears in their eyes. Many have ended relationships and will begin again, but I want to tell you that even at the end of one life story our Heavenly Father begins another: "And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are faithful and true." Rev. 21:5
Have you thanked God for every step you have taken in your life?
Even in the failures we must reflect and thank, because if you are going through or have gone through a failure in your personal relationship with your partner is because they come to you a new hope, a new beginning, a new glow in life, be thankful, God loves you.
I thank God for this year that is ending, for life, for my failures that taught me to mature and change aspects of my life. I thank God for meeting special people who left a little piece of them in my heart, and I thank God for being with my son in these days of a new beginning.

Happy New Thoughts
On several occasions, I have commented that I have among my occupations the time available when a person comes to me for advice. I am always available to give a word of encouragement and encouragement, as much as possible to try to make the person understand that our conflicting emotions can be changed by changing our way of thinking. Your thoughts are not your reality, your reality is what you do with your thoughts, I always repeat this phrase, because I am convinced that the battle is in the mind.
Late last night, a friend sent me messages by WhassApp, asking for advice because she felt bad emotionally, almost on the verge of crying, in fact in the last voice messages she was crying. I tell you, she met a person on the Internet a year ago, who is a native of the same city where she lives but is currently based in Colombia, that is, something distant from her who lives in Venezuela. She was very excited about this man without even knowing him in person. Even though he treats her as a friend, she gets her hopes up with a romanticism that does not exist. It turns out that he arrived in Venezuela to visit some relatives, specifically in the same city where she lives. He has been in the city for several days and has not yet made an appointment to meet her. She is going through an emotional crisis because in her mind she has negative thoughts of when the day will come that he will decide to meet her. And that day never seems to come because of his lack of interest. He has given her many excuses. Days go by and she is in a bad way. She has no peace in her heart. Full of negative thoughts.
Now I am going to give you another example of negative thoughts with my personal case. At the end of October, I met an interesting person on the Internet who lives relatively close, a few kilometers away, about 4 hours by road between the two of us. Since the beginning of our online friendship, we have hit it off very well. We have spoken with a lot of sincerity about our personal lives. He confesses to me that just a few months before meeting me he had ended a love relationship, and that he is still in mourning to overcome the breakup with his ex, since it was she who left the relationship, leaving him as the "victim" in the breakup. Our friendship came to a point of changing our written verbal language from "friends" to be more like "boyfriend and girlfriend" language. Lots of words of affection, affection, romanticism. Now in December everything changed in my personal way of dealing with him, it changed at the moment when he confessed to me that in the messages of affection that I sent to him when he reads the message written in his thoughts he imagines that it is his ex who is writing to him. **This is where I repeat, your thoughts are not your reality, your reality is what you do with your thoughts**. He thinks about his ex, but that is not his reality. The one writing is me. It is there where I decide to withdraw from his life, to get away from him, and from that false communication that does not nourish me personally at all, it does not edify me, it is not healthy for my soul and spirit. The only one who can change his thinking is him, there I can do nothing, I decide to withdraw from his life. The battle is in his mind, only he can make the change.
Both in the case of my friend, in the story, I described at the beginning, and in the case of my dear friend I met on the internet, they are people who are always programming negative thoughts, they are always looking for negative things because they have programmed themselves for those thoughts, they do not believe in themselves, in the power that is within them, they have no faith and do not want to change their way of thinking to conquer their own world. Time goes by and both friends are still submerged in their negative thoughts of their inner world that does not allow them to live in the present.
We all have the same opportunities, you create your own opportunities in life, you create them yourself, not the other people around you and much less those who are far away from you. If you are of positive thoughts you will create probabilities, but if you are of negative thoughts you will create limitations. Those same limitations are the ones that have caused the characters of the two cases I narrated above not to meet in person. And personally, those limitations in the way of thinking that my online friend creates, have made me move away from him.
Fear is the main sensor that my two dear friends manifest in their behavior, that fear triggers negative thoughts that anticipate failure, because both friends connect with their personal situations lived in the past, that is what their mind does, it compares everything, even my affectionate messages. Their mind gives an answer to everything, in these two cases in a negative way. Until you are able to change those negative thoughts you will always be anticipating failure, limiting the possibility of creating new relationships based on positive belief principles. Believe in God who can do it all.
Everything is in your mind more than in your reality, your reality is what you decide to do or manifest in your present. What you have lived in the past is the past, you should not allow your mind with negative thoughts to control your present.
**To my two dear friends, I wish you from my heart happy new thoughts for this coming year 2022. May our Heavenly Father pour into your hearts peace and tranquility.**
I hope that all the people who stopped today to read my content will take a moment of reflection. I wish you a whole world of probabilities in your good life projects for the next year, do not limit your opportunities with negative thoughts, open your mind in positive for a present in peace and a future in prosperity. God bless you. Happy new thoughts to all.

A Haven of Peace
When I look out the window of my house and see the lonely street, without people or vehicles, I immediately get an image in my mind of those rolled up balls of dried plants that roll in the wind in western movies. I had never been curious about what those balls of dried plants are called until I thought of them today when I was looking out my window.
Little did I know that they are actually whole plants or shrubs. In America their most common name is barrilla or tumbleweed. In other areas they are known by different names: as rodamundos, capitana, salsola, salicor, to name a few. What is true is that always in the movies when they come out rolling down a street driven by the wind represents that it is a place that is deserted.
So every time I look out my window I see several "barrillas" or "salicor" in my imagination crossing in front of me. The street is always quiet, deserted, no life to be seen, not a dog in sight, few vehicles circulating. Before the pandemic, it was the same, but in December it is even lonelier. Most of my neighbors have relatives in other residential areas or on farms. They all go out to visit during these days and the neighborhood is practically solitary. Few of us stay in our homes. Particularly most of my family lives far away and I cannot go out to visit them because it requires a lot of money and several days to go to them. So I stay at home.
Also, the neighborhood is extremely quiet, it seems that there is no life for miles. It invites you to relax, to live in stillness, to stay quiet. But not everyone likes so much quiet and tranquility. On one occasion I gave lodging to a friend to stay at home for about 15 days until he solved some personal problems. A few days later, he solved his personal issues left my home quickly, he did not want to stay more days as a guest because he said he was not used to so much silence and tranquility. I love where I live because it is relaxing and quiet.
The name of the neighborhood is like it was chosen especially for that area. The zone is on the outskirts of the city, about 10 minutes from the center of the capital of the state of Barinas. The neighborhood is a private area called "El Remanso" (The Haven).
So everything matches, both the name of the neighborhood "El Remanso" and the idea of being calm and relaxed not only at home but in the surroundings. Here is a place where you can be calm, without pressures or anxieties. Although, for some people it may not seem like an ideal place to live, for me it is. This is my place that offers me a haven. This is my haven of peace, it is my space where I can find tranquility and calm, away from all the hustle and bustle.
Wherever you have your heart and you feel inner peace and love in your heart, this is your place, this is your haven, whether in the city or in a quiet place...
Do you like to live in a haven of peace or do you prefer the city and its hustle and bustle?
From "El Remanso" I wish you happy holidays full of peace and love, to all those who write interesting content on read.cash, to my followers and to all my sponsors. May God fill your hearts with peace and love... Happy Holidays to all.

Waiting for the ideal moment.
We are always waiting for the ideal moment to start a project, to start a relationship, an undertaking, a new activity. The ideal moment will never come. There will always be an excuse, an obstacle in some situation that will make us postpone the opportunity to start, always waiting for better times. It is important to change this mental scheme that limits people.
Many people remain anchored in their comfort zone for years, even if it is a zone of limitations, but as they know they can bear it, they get used to it with time, they even get used to be all the time suffering for a past, for a moment of sadness, for a loss, for a failure. The human being gets used to everything. And some people like to suffer, always playing the victim, they cling to everything, to people, to objects, the attachment is so great that they even create dependence and strong bonds, even in some cases, obsession.
Always waiting for the ideal moment to start a new project in life but they become dependent on someone or something, and they are willing to do anything to not let go of that dependence, creating an attachment bond that prevents them from starting something new and leaving their comfort zone.
I do not mean to say that it is bad to become attached to people, objects or even activities. I only mean that the problem of clinging to the point of ending up limiting life by waiting for the ideal moment, limiting opportunities, these limitations end up causing harm, because they produce anxiety, fear, and even suffering.
Neither do I refer to abandoning your dreams, on the contrary, you have to continue acting to achieve the proposed goals, continue giving everything, at every moment. Pursue the objectives of working hard for what you want, never give up if it is within our reach to complete the projects and aspirations in life.
The situations that arise in our environment and no matter how hard you try you have not been able to give a solution, you have to let them follow their course freely without clinging. Let the circumstances that we cannot solve flow. Accept the situations that no matter how hard you try you cannot change, let them go. Not to cling to them. Without becoming dependent, without suffering, and without anguish, closing cycles.
Do not stop waiting for the ideal moment, do not get attached to that idea, when your mind manages to detach itself to someone or something, fears and anguish automatically disappear, your body relaxes and you enter into a sense of tranquility and peace.
Life continues, it moves, there are few situations that we can stop in our environment because they are always in constant change, the ideal moment never comes and that is precisely the beauty of life, it never stops, it always changes, it only stops when the final moment arrives and yet it continues for others.
Don't wait for the ideal moment, don't get attached to that idea, move forward. You will not be able to stop the years, the departure of a loved one, the end of a love relationship, children growing up, friends leaving. It is important to accept that the loss of someone or something is part of life, that there is a cycle of mourning, but also a stage of closure, hence the importance of developing detachment, accepting that what you loved before may not be part of your life now.
The ideal moment does not come, the circumstances of our environment are always changing... the most valuable thing is to know how to live the moment now, not to wait for better times...
Go ahead and seek the greatest possible happiness, thanking God for each day lived, life is short, make the most of it.
Are you waiting for the ideal moment to advance in your life plan?
I look forward to reading your comment.

The Hallaca: a Venezuelan Masterpiece
The traditional Venezuelan Christmas dish par excellence is the hallaca. In every home around this time the family begins to prepare the budget and choose the day to meet with family members and close friends to prepare the delicious Christmas dish.
At home, since I have been living alone for three years, I join my neighbor Serlena to prepare the hallacas. We do it each with our own budget, our own ingredients and our own seasoning. Serlena prepares hers and I prepare mine. But we meet in the same house and use the same wood stove in the same patio.
The preparation of the hallacas is a whole day process. It is a very laborious task. But the most important thing is that the family and friends are united in its preparation. It is the most beautiful part, the sharing. At Serlena's house we always buy a liqueur, soda, lemon and ice and with a cheerful musical atmosphere we share a special day of Christmas tradition. We have been doing it this special for us for three years now.
Today we went shopping with Serlena and me, in her vehicle, because my car has been damaged due to a lack of tires. Today we bought all the necessary ingredients: beef, pork, and chicken. The onion, garlic, onion, onion, onion, chili, chili, garlic, paprika, seasoning, and banana leaves. The thread to tie the hallacas and I bought a handmade spicy spice, the spicy spice is optional.
We missed buying the firewood and the drink but we left that for tomorrow, then we went to the gas station to put the fuel in Serlena's vehicle.
There we had a long queue, where we spent more than an hour without moving the car at all because the queue did not move forward. Noon arrived and we were already hungry and thirsty. We decided to leave it that way without getting gas because we did not see any movement of the cars, so after more than an hour in line we left to go home. Here in my country the simple fact of filling up the vehicle with gas is a process that requires time, patience and absolute dedication.
Today in the afternoon I am not going to the gym because I will spend it washing the five kilos of banana leaves I bought to wrap the hallacas. Since I've been going to the gym I haven't missed a day, I love to warm up with dance therapy and then do the exercises that the gym instructor tells me to do. My neighbor Serlena also goes to the gym. We decided to stay today in the afternoon to get a head start on washing the banana leaves.
Tomorrow we plan to meet after lunch at Serlena's house across the street from mine. Today we will each go to our respective houses to start the process of chopping the seasonings. After buying the firewood tomorrow we will start the meeting that we have made a tradition between us. Last year we finished preparing everything last night. Serlena made 86 hallacas and I made 78. She makes more because she buys more ingredients. I hope this year will be the same amount as last year because she bought more meat and pork than I did.
As I said at the beginning, the most important thing when preparing hallacas is the union of family and friends. It is a Venezuelan tradition that despite the vicissitudes of life, always in December we make the effort to make it, because in Venezuela, a Christmas without hallacas is not Christmas.
What traditional Christmas dish is prepared in your country?
Thanks to my followers and sponsors for their support, tomorrow they will be in my thoughts when I taste my first hallaca of the year, made by me. Happy holidays to all of you, you are the best.

The monkey's world day
Sometimes I don't know what to write. I spend the day thinking about what story I can tell. My strategy when I can't get content out of my mind is to surf the internet, google it or go to YouTube. I'm not revealing anything new, all of us who dedicate ourselves to writing have some days with literary inspiration in airplane mode. So I resort to the same thing everyone does: surfing. Searching with interest I read something that caught my attention, on December 14 is celebrated the world day of the monkey.
I never thought that monkeys had a special day to celebrate. According to what I could find out, the origins of this peculiar celebration are unknown. It could be said that it was some students from the University of Michigan who started it in 2003.
What I can say is that the mind is activated by any memory stored in the subconscious. When I read about World Monkey Day I immediately remembered Goyo. He was a marmoset monkey, one of those monkeys that they use in the circus and dress him up with clothes.
I was about ten years old when the monkey Goyo, the name given to him by my father when he saw him for the first time, suddenly appeared in the yard of my mother's house. No one ever knew where he came from, but we knew why he came to our yard. There we had a very big mango tree. At the top of the tree was always Goyo eating ripe mango.
Days went by and Goyo the monkey began to trust us humans at home. He would come down from the mango tree and walk around the yard very calmly. Soon Goyo monkey was like part of the herd... not to say family... and we got used to him, he always made us laugh with his funny antics.
Eventually, my mother noticed something strange in the henhouse she kept in the backyard. The hens hadn't laid any eggs for days. Mom noticed it strange because my mom knew the coop very well and there was never a lack of two or three eggs a day. Mom decided to spy on her coop, until she discovered the mystery of the coop.
It wasn't the hens that stopped laying eggs, it was the monkey Goyo who was stealing the eggs. Mom watched as Goyo took the eggs one by one, and took them to the end of the yard, and there with a small stone and very carefully made a hole in the eggshell and then sucked out the contents, leaving the eggshell almost intact but completely empty. Mom got all the missing eggs completely empty and arranged them in a corner.
The monkey Goyo became to be a problem. My mom didn't know how to protect the eggs anymore. Goyo always got there first to steal the eggs. So my dad decided to put Goyo in a big cage he had in the backyard.
Ever since I was little I have never liked to put animals in cages, I don't like to see them in cages, I want to see them free. I was very sad to see Goyo the monkey in a cage. But I don't really remember if Goyo would be affected by being there. I don't remember that. What I do remember was why my dad decided to take him away from home and set Goyo free.
It turns out that Goyo the monkey touched his sexual organs very often and performed with his hands a natural act in the animal (and sometimes human) species that I will not mention here. And one day my dad came to the yard and noticed that my sisters and I were playing near the cage. My dad saw Goyo's act and decided to take him far away from home, I remember it was over a mountain, that's how they named him. And that's how Goyo the monkey won his freedom.
Going back to World Monkey Day, I also learned that it is not the only date dedicated to primates, since on July 14 they celebrate World Chimpanzee Day and on August 19 World Orangutan Day. I remember when I saw an orangutan for the first time, but it was not in my backyard, it was not there, it was many years ago in a zoo that I visited on a vacation trip I made to England, but that is another story for another day, it may be for the next August 19, on the World Orangutan Day, if God allows me.
And you do know that December 14th is World Monkey Day?
Thank you for your comments.
Thanks to my followers and sponsors for their constant support. You are the best.

House Cleaning
When I was a child my parents used to paint the house before the end of the year. Already in December, all the walls of the house changed color. It was like being in a new house. I also remember that all the old clothes and shoes my mother would throw them away or if they were still in good condition she would give them away to people with more needs than we had at home. We had new clothes and shoes for the 24th and 25th of December, as well as for the 31st and first of January.
The house where I live now I could not paint this year because I could not raise the money for the paints. I was only able to do some house cleaning. I am still working on that. The first thing I am going to do these days is to throw away objects that have been in drawers or closets for a long time. In the drawers I have old things stored for years that I am not using, some of them are even broken. Old magazines and a lot of clothes that I haven't used for a long time, even some spoiled shoes that I left at the end of the closet in a basket. Sometimes I ask myself when I see these items in storage, why would I keep them?
General cleaning of the house was necessary. In the kitchen drawers, in the drawers, and in the bedroom closet, when I do the cleaning I put music, listening to music encourages me to sort, organize and throw away what is no longer useful and what I don't want to keep. Everything goes to the trash, I don't think I have anything to donate, they are too used, broken, or old. I do the cleaning in several days, at my own pace, there is no rush.
I should do this more often because it feels good to get rid of things that have served their useful life. They are material things that just fill the space in the drawers. In this same way, we should order our mind and our heart. Get rid of situations in our life that do not allow us to move forward.
Let us also clean our mental house, get rid of all resentment, hatred, anger, get rid of all those memories, resentments, unhappiness that have been inside our minds for months, years. When one releases all those emotions one also changes. Just like in a clean house, when we clean our soul of resentment we also breathe pure air, full of harmony and peace.
You could also practice detachment from material things so that you can breathe airs of peace.
Have you already done the cleaning of your mental drawers?

Keyword: Attitude!
Recently I was reading a book, it was too late and I was still not sleepy, I always resort to reading to fall asleep. Just as I was about to fall into the arms of Morpheus, a message arrived on my cell phone. I was surprised because of the hour, usually, by that hour no one writes to me unless it is for an emergency message.
The message was from a person I met recently and who trusted me to tell me about his conflicts with his partner. Or rather ex-partner, because they have been separated for several months and he has not yet overcome the breakup of the love relationship.
He asked me: "Are you asleep?" I read the message and raised an eyebrow in surprise at the question coming from him since he has never written me at that hour of the night.
I replied: - "here I am, tell me".
- "I want to write about my relationship with my ex-partner"- he said.- "I want to tell how I discovered the lies, betrayal, and deceit in the relationship with her. And I want you to read it. The story is long"
I immediately got the image of a man who could not sleep either, who was immersed in a crisis of anguish and tribulation, in a phase of his grief. I imagined him walking around his house, alone, in his thoughts of a forsaken man looking for answers as to why the breakup of the relationship he thought was ideal. He has found the answers, after so much searching, now he is filled with rage and anger at the betrayal of the woman he thought loved him. Reality hurts and if there is betrayal it hurts even more.
- "Sure,"- I said -"write down everything that comes to your mind about your relationship, it's good therapy for you, it's liberating"- I answered instantly.
- "Okay, I'll do it"
It was 6 am when he asked for my email address to send what he wrote. So, the man didn't sleep all night, confirming the image that came to my mind that he was going through an emotional crisis. In other words, his was an emergency message.
I read what he wrote. He expressed through writing everything negative about the relationship. He expressed it that way because he discovered that the relationship he had for several years was based on lies, betrayal and deceit. It was only after the breakup that he discovered the real facts of a love that he thought was lasting. It is hard to discover the real cause of the breakup. The woman no longer wanted to be with him and blocked all communication. He was left as the "victim" of the relationship.
One of the things he told me that morning, after spending all night writing, was that if I wanted to, I could write an article about what he wrote. He authorized me to publish it. At that moment I said yes, I would do it, I would publish his reflections. But then I thought better of it...
What did we gain by publishing his reflections? I particularly think that he and I gained nothing. Writing his reflections fulfilled the therapeutic part of healing in him. At the end of the morning, he said he felt better emotionally after writing down everything that was on his mind. The writing was a liberating therapy for him. And that's the important thing, that's where we won!
I have talked to him about the stages of his grief. Emotionally he is on a merry-go-round of emotions. One day he's on a high and then he's on a low. He can't seem to forget the cruel and unfair circumstances of the breakup. It was unexpected for him. Without the option of having any explanation from her, since when she expressed her desire to end the relationship she was in another country, far away from him. And with another partner, unbeknownst to him. She blocked him from all her social networks, leaving him in an emotional limbo. Every day he has a stormy sea of negative memories that haunt his head.
Bad memories of lies, betrayal, and deceit from the relationship with that lady are part of his story. Although it pains him to accept these facts, they are part of his recent past. People are made up of both positive and negative experiences and he is no exception to the rule.
What we must work on as a person is how to overcome or deal with the negative experiences that bring to mind stormy memories, which do not let us move forward and keep us in the past. It does not let us live in the present so that the harmony that we need to be in an inner peace can flow and give us happiness again.
Changing negative thoughts that cause us pain is not easy. But it is not impossible either. Imagine how many people in the world have suffered a breakup in their relationship and now see it in the present as something positive that happened to them in their lives and were able to change their attitude from the real facts and be happy again.
We have the power to control our memories, it is our brain and our mind that choose what we want to remember and what we don't want to remember. The key is to choose the right attitude to not allow negative thoughts to nest in your head. As I always say, the battle is in the mind. "Sometimes you win... Sometimes you learn." (Robert Kiyosaki).
The book *Manual para no morir de amo*r (Manual to avoid dying of love, written by psychologist Walter Riso) the author describes an interesting technique to forget an ex-partner. "The stop technique", as the writer of the book calls it. It consists of clapping your hands and saying out loud "stop!" every time we have memories of the ex-partner.
I have been using my own technique for years. I recommend in my orientations to couples to change negative thoughts by immediately thinking of a Bible verse. Reading a verse out loud does not allow that negative thought to remain in your mind. Don't "nest" in your head. I recommend placing verse notes in visible places at home, work, vehicle, etc. Whenever negative thoughts come in I will immediately read a verse. It works for me, because as a human being I have gone through negative and stressful situations that rob me of my peace but I don't allow them to nest in my mind.
Two interesting techniques to choose from, it's up to you which one to do, taking the right attitude is the key to healing.
"If it is not in your hands to change a situation that causes you pain, you can always choose the attitude with which you face that suffering." (Viktor Frankl)

I love December!
Traditionally, December (the last month of the year) is considered as the end of a stage. And we are already thinking about how to personally improve next year. December lends itself to reflect on what we have lived and what we will live in the near future. It is something psychological that happens in many people, but as a personal evaluation it is valid. We should always close cycles and reflect on new situations trying not to repeat patterns of behavior that are not favorable for us to grow as a person.
Self-evaluation guides us in an effective way. Let's make a self-evaluation now in December. We must be sincere at the moment of thinking about the way we are behaving and how we are relating to other people. Self-esteem plays an important role in this regard. How we perceive ourselves, our thoughts and feelings will be a way of self-evaluation of ourselves.
Self-esteem changes throughout our lives, we must always keep in mind that the messages we receive from the outside are also variable, our way of interpreting our life experience changes, and also our way of interpreting what happens around us. All these factors are perceived differently depending on the self-esteem we have.
It is possible that we can observe in some people with low self-esteem the tendency not to love themselves, not to value themselves, to the point of not giving themselves respect. They humiliate themselves only to seek approval from other people. To go to the extreme of humiliating oneself has to do with self-esteem, with that feeling of low self-worth as a person, they get involved in negative emotions and feelings of suffering and pain that remain inside the person.
But why do some people tend to humiliate themselves? Losing respect to the point of humiliation, damaging themselves emotionally. I will try to highlight some indicators of the reasons about this characteristic of people who tend to self-humiliation.
Most of the times we look for the acceptance of others in certain circumstances of life, since by nature we are social beings, and therefore we do not like to be alone. We not only need contact with other people, but we also need to feel loved, we need affection and acceptance in areas of our life, family, social and work. People with low self-esteem seeking acceptance humiliate themselves to be taken into account because of their need for acceptance or fear of rejection. An example of this is the case of a person who performs some humiliating action towards himself in order to be accepted by his friends in his social group. This usually happens very frequently in the adolescent stage, and parents have to be aware of any change in their children's behavior, which makes them suspect that the adolescent humiliates himself or herself in order to seek acceptance and affection among his or her "friends".
In the workplace, adults often humiliate themselves in order to keep their jobs. At one time I was working for an oil company in my country, we were several people who were hired for a personnel training project. At that time, when our contracts were about to end, some people resorted to different strategies to try to become permanent employees. I observed at that time how people went so far as to humiliate themselves for a permanent job.
In a couple's relationship, it can also lead a person to accept humiliation in order to avoid being abandoned by his or her partner. The person who is abandoned by his/her partner resorts to humiliation, begs his/her partner not to leave him/her, calls him/her at all hours crying, is capable of doing anything not to lose that person. This person has a low self-esteem, his affective need is reflected by an emotional dependence or fear of loneliness.
There are many ways in which we humiliate ourselves and many times we don't realize it. But if you become aware of situations where you feel you are humiliating yourself, you should think of yourself as a being of virtues, of loving yourself, of accepting yourself as you are, with your defects and virtues, without losing your dignity, without having to humiliate yourself. Work on your self-esteem. You owe yourself love, affection and respect.
It is worth improving your self-esteem if in your self-evaluation you have realized that it is necessary to make changes for healthy esteem for the benefit of your person, that will bring you emotional stability, strength to accept changes, motivation to new goals, improve relationships with other people, will make you be more assertive, respect yourself, improve your physical care and your mood.
So upbeat, work on your healthy self-esteem as a short-term goal for this coming year. December makes us reflect and plan our personal well-being.
I love December!
I look forward to your comments...Next year do you plan to make changes in yourself?...Will you invest in yourself?

The Living Ghost
My friend is a woman who knows what she wants in life. The maturity of the years has taught her many things. The time she has lived alone has pleased her, loneliness has taught her to see life from another perspective, she is now stronger than before, she manages her emotions better, she is more independent, more determined in the way she leads her life. She is happy without the company of another person. She lives in peace, with a peace that she values very much. My friend and I have known each other all our lives. I particularly know what makes her happy, what moves her, what saddens her. We have shared so many things in good times and bad. We have shared so much that time has made us seem like one person.
A short time ago she met a man she found very interesting and in a short time they became friends. According to what she has appreciated he is a good man, with good feelings, the kind that one would say there are few left. From the first moment, they met they understood each other in many aspects, although she confesses to me that a few days before the friendship began she had already "had her eye on him" without realizing it. Once they met, they have not stopped talking to each other every day and at various times they communicate to know about each other. They have laughed at each other's witticisms. They have many things in common. They both enjoy reading and share a passion for writing. They read what they publish with great interest. The content of what their friend writes is full of intimate feelings and emotions that bare a soul wounded by a love breakup.
Both have been sincere since they met, speaking truthfully about the situations they have lived through in the past. In the conversations they have had, he expresses the grief he still carries for the breakup of a seven-year relationship he had with his partner. He still has in his soul that feeling of loss that causes him pain. And he expresses this pain with great feeling in his publications. She understands that it is her way of releasing emotions of rage, anger, and pain for the betrayal of her ex-partner.
He confesses that she loved that woman so much that she thought she was the love of her life, that it was a love for life. She finds it hard to accept the situation. He has very vivid memories with that woman, but he realizes that he is suffering from phantom pain. It is the phantom pain that you feel when you break up with the love of your life. It is as if you had suffered the amputation of a part of your body. That's how intensely you love that woman. Emotionally he is in the process of coming to terms with the breakup.
My friend knows that he still feels depressed and destroyed by the breakup, and in conversations with his friend he tells her that he is not far away, that he is getting free, but my friend senses that he is not, that the ghost is still alive.
Phantom pain occurs when memories come to mind, memories that are anchored thanks to the amygdala, a small area of our brain responsible for bringing out the deepest emotions we have experienced. Phantom pain is a very strong pain that the brain seeks to fill with memories of that loved one, but like grief, this phantom pain will also pass.
Acceptance and resignation go hand in hand to overcome this phantom pain. As time goes by it will hurt less and less. Your friend, in spite of the pain of the breakup, feels that there is little time left to get over the grief. She is making an effort to free herself from the emotional burden of the past that hurts her. My friend hopes so because she feels that with time a beautiful feeling towards him has been born in her. A feeling that grows every day to the point of thinking about putting loneliness aside, sharing her happiness and peace, committing her life to the company of a good man, but she also knows that it is hard for her to deal with a ghost that still lives in him. She is very clear on that, she is not blinded by a fantasy, she sees the reality of the situation and continues to cultivate an interesting and growing friendship between the two of them.
In the last conversations he expresses with resignation of his relationship with his ex-partner, he already accepts that this relationship has come to an end. That there is no turning back, the facts are real and we have to accept them. When he talks to my friend he feels good, he starts to have happy days, he laughs at the funny things my friend says. He also feels something special for her. He has shown it to her on many occasions. She feels that he is sincere, that he tells the truth of his feelings, that he is a serious man and committed to finding happiness again in the company of a good woman. He asks her for time to fully heal his heart and start over. She understands perfectly well that time is necessary. She understands very well that time is the medicine for healing and starting over. What is important is the intention to tell each other that a beautiful feeling is being born between them, a serious intention to unite their future in a solid relationship without the shadow of a ghost.
He is going away from her for a few months. He has been telling her for a long time. He had planned long before he met her to spend three months in Argentina with one of his daughters. And then go for three more months to another daughter who lives in Spain. He has not seen his daughters for some time. And this time of sharing with them will serve her as a healing, a liberation. My friend understands perfectly well that this time away from any common environment she has had with her ex-partner is necessary. She understands that this six months away from the country will make her reborn, body, soul and spirit, without the shadow of a ghost. He told her that when he returns in six months he hopes to find her to start a new stage in their lives.
What do you think... What would you do in the case of these two people who met and became good friends?

Noble Hearts
The world is full of people with noble hearts, people who through their professions go beyond their own personal interests. In these times of health confinement, one of the professions that for their work and great effort to save lives is the work of doctors. Today they are considered the great heroes in the face of this terrible pandemic that is ravaging the entire world.
Doctors with their immense love and passion are warriors who are dedicated to saving lives at the cost of their own, they are in charge of diagnosing and treating diseases. They are specialists who strive to restore the health and well-being of patients. Many physicians have fallen in the battle to be at the forefront in the fight against covid19. The profession of the physician is a laudable profession. They are warriors who fight to save lives.
Today, December 3rd, is International Doctors' Day. I would like to congratulate all medical professionals who are dedicated to writing content of interest on read.cash. From this platform I send them a warm greeting, especially to my dear sister @gertu13 ,a great professional doctor, who day after day dedicates her great effort to provide care to her patients. She is a great physician with a noble heart. For my dear sister and for all the doctors who make life here in read.cash, I wish them a long life in health with the blessing of our Heavenly Father. https://read.cash/@gertu13
We also have people with noble hearts near or far from us such as people with disabilities, who like doctors on December 3 celebrate their international day. The purpose of this day is to promote the rights of people with disabilities. That society becomes aware of the situation of people with disabilities in all areas of life. They are people with equal rights but have more difficulties than other people in different aspects, for example, access to education, employment, and social life in general. The simple fact of taking public transportation, to give just one example, is for them a great battle that they try to overcome.
For almost 30 years I worked in a special education institute for mental retardation as a psychopedagogue. In all those years I dealt with children and adolescents with special educational needs. Since the beginning of my profession I felt the need to advocate for the rights of equality in the labor, social and family environment. On one occasion, specifically in 2005, I developed a project of care and job training for people with disabilities in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela. The project was approved at the presidential level to be executed because of its great social impact in the state, for the benefit of people with disabilities. But unfortunately, when the economic resources were approved at the regional level, the financial resources were diverted to other areas not registered at the level of the state government, leaving my project unrealized.
It was a great struggle that I undertook at that time to try to recover my project of care and job training for people with disabilities, but I could never against the monster of corruption of the regional government. I gave up when one day I received a call to my cell phone threatening my children's lives.
At that time I worked in the educational area with children and adolescents with physical difficulties. People who had an impact on their learning, because of their disability. I attended children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, specifically with intellectual development disorder, Down syndrome and global developmental delay. For years I worked in the individualized educational care of children and adolescents with pervasive developmental disorders or PDD. People with limitations in the social area, verbal communication, and behavior. People with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), people with compromised brain development. For a short time, I worked with some blind people and other deaf-mute people, but my field of work has always been in the area of mental retardation and learning disabilities.
I also attended many cases of children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, ADHD. Nowadays I deal with cases of learning disorders. Children who in some areas of reading, spelling or arithmetic, find school activities very difficult, requiring constant support from a specialist in the educational area or from their parents at home. One of the disadvantages that have had the child population in general in these times of pandemic is the great difficulty of learning at the cyber level, especially the population with ADHD.
The student population with learning disabilities in reading, writing, comprehension and communication need constant support from their parents, assisted by an educational psychologist, since it is difficult for this population of children and adolescents to do their schoolwork online.
It has been demonstrated that once the barriers and obstacles to integration have been overcome, people with disabilities can become effectively and productively active in society. The barrier that has been much stronger and more difficult to overcome is the ignorance of some people when they are in the presence of a person with a disability. Social discrimination is a constant that exists even in the environment of a person with a disability.
Today, on the International Day of People with Disabilities, my respect and solidarity to all. To the doctors for their praiseworthy work, may our Heavenly Father protect and bless you and your families with good health. You all have noble hearts... We are all one!
I look forward to your comments on the dates being celebrated today.

Closing 2021 with Hope.
We are starting the last month of the year, we will have a lot of content to close the month. And all of them will be to comment on the things that could not be done for different reasons. And other contents will be to see what we expect for the next year 2022.
Undoubtedly, this year 2021 left us with a lot of sorrows. In some families, it left the mourning for the loss of a loved one, either by covid19 or by another illness not treated in time due to the collapse of hospital centers or by car or motorbike accidents. Whatever the cause, the pain caused by the loss of a loved one is incalculable.
We also closed the year with nostalgia and sadness for the departure of a loved one to another country due to the hyperinflationary situation we Venezuelans are experiencing. Many families separated. Parents leaving their children in the care of grandparents. And young people setting off for the unknown, on an adventure of a life separated from their families. This year closed with many separated families.
As I always say, life goes on, it is up to us how we live it. Whether we start a new year with hopelessness or we fill ourselves from now on in a state of mind full of hope for the coming year 2022.
Next year, we have to make up our minds from now on that it will be a year full of achievements, that with the hope we can achieve the plans we have set out, logically or on the basis of the faith that each one of us has, can be fulfilled.
Most of us tend to rely on our faith when we find ourselves in difficult situations. We trust that, sooner or later, everything will work out. We base our faith on hope as a resource or state of mind that helps us not to fall into depression. The confidence we have drives us as a stimulus and gives us the strength to go on.
We must keep our thoughts positive because in life we will always have difficulties, there will always be tribulation, we will always encounter obstacles, we will always fall, but the most important thing is that we will always get up again. The hope is that when we get up we will get up with a positive attitude to start again and move forward.
I am hopeful that in the coming year of 2022 we will have many personal, family, and work achievements. Let's keep our minds with that thought, with the attitude of achievers. Happy start of the month and much hope and faith for the coming year.
And you... Are you still hopeful that your plans will be fulfilled in 2022?
Thank you to my followers and dear sponsors for the great support you always show by continuing to read my posts. Thank you all, you are the best.

Drawing a Tree
Ever since I can remember I have liked to draw. At school, my teacher often assigned me this task to decorate the classroom bulletin boards. Then over the years, I perfected my own style of drawing.
Only once I enrolled in a painting course, and that was at a time when I was pregnant, expecting my second child. For almost 8 months I attended the course and I was able to do some oil paintings of natural landscapes. I always drew rivers or seas, with their sunsets. And above all, I liked to draw trees.
When I'm travelling I like to sit on the seat facing the window. I like to look at the trees in the different places I passed through during the journey. I look at the different shapes of the trees, their roots, trunk, foliage, the colour of the leaves and the colour of the trunk. I still don't know what the psychological reason for this attraction to trees is. I think it may be that I look for a way of perfecting the technique of drawing through observation so that the tree is as realistic as possible.
Drawing is a creative form of expression. It can also be compared to a mirror, through a drawing you unconsciously bare your emotions at a certain moment. The drawing reflects how we feel and on a psychological level, it can give information about some of our personality traits.
Drawing reveals a part of us, in fact, it is a projective technique used by psychologists, pedagogues, and in human resources for the selection of personnel to be hired in a company. I remember on one occasion a friend visited me to ask me to draw her a picture of a house, a tree and a person. She had a written interview sheet for her to answer some personal questions as a requirement for a job she was applying for. It was a sheet with several personal questions and at the end, she was asked to draw a picture of a house, a tree and a person. As she didn't know how to draw, she wanted me to do the drawing because she was worried that she wouldn't be hired because she couldn't draw. I couldn't help her because through that drawing, without her knowing it, they were applying the house-tree-person test and she would be evaluated on emotional aspects, her traumas, stress, anxiety and even her self-esteem.
When we draw only the tree we are applying a projective personality test. With this drawing the psychologist tries to find out unconscious aspects of the person. It can be applied to both children and adults, which is why it is a technique that is widely used at a clinical level in cases of sexual abuse, harassment, rape, physical and psychological mistreatment in children and adolescents. As well as in adults in the workplace in interviews for personnel selection. In children, adolescents and adults, through the drawing of the tree, the specialist obtains relevant information that the patient has not revealed verbally due to fear, fear or omission of information.
The interpretation of the tree test must be done taking into consideration many aspects and information collected through interviews obtained from the person who makes the drawing, and it must be carried out by an expert in projective graphic techniques in the area of psychology. There are many aspects that are considered in the tree test, it is too broad to be detailed in a professional way, I can only point out that all aspects are considered when evaluating the drawing. The tracing of the drawing is analysed, if it has erasures or elements of the drawing have been erased, the location of the tree on the paper where it was drawn, the roots, if they are deep or shallow, the ground, the trunk, if it is thin, thick, if the trunk has holes, the location of the hole in the trunk, the branches and their location, if it has holes, if the tree has fruits, if the fruits are rotten, if they are drawn on the ground, the leaves, the top of the tree and many other details that the specialist has to consider, such as the colours used when colouring the tree.
What I want to express in this content on the subject of drawing a tree is that the drawing is used as a projection test that allows the specialist in the area of psychology to know something more intimate, the unconscious or some traumatic experiences that happened in the life of the person who makes the drawing, are elements of importance for the psychological evaluation that were not expressed verbally in the interviews carried out as a complement to the clinical or human resources case of a company.
If you have ever been asked to draw a picture of a tree, you were unknowingly asked to take the tree test and gave information from your subconscious without even knowing it.
Have you drawn a picture of the tree?
I have, many times, to express my creativity in drawing.

As Dogs and Cats
Ambar has been my pet for four years. She communicates with me in an almost telepathic language. Many times my dog surprises me when she takes the initiative to do things that I have only just started. I guess she has adapted to me in such a way that just by watching my movements she knows what I am going to do.
Ambar knows a lot of words when I talk to her, but the word that gets her active, alert and in the attack position is the word "*cat*". And it's not just the word "*cat*" that she reacts like that, she can't see a cat or hear it purring from a distance, it's like a spring in her step, she shoots out to see where she can find the cat and runs after it.
She is the only dog in my residential area that has this reaction, and my neighbours' pets don't even notice the cats. So when the cats pass by my house they do it slowly, and on alert because they already know that Ambar will make them run.
When I think of this reaction from Ambar I think it is because I unknowingly instilled it in her. It is a reaction to a behaviour learned from me from the time she came into my hands as my beloved pet. I have never particularly liked cats. Whenever I see a cat near the house or in my yard I scare it away, but without hurting it, I just say "go away cat" in a loud, authoritative voice and get out of the house to scare it away.
Now when I say "*go away cat*" or simply "*cat*" the one who runs after the cat is Ambar.
Ambar is territorial, she is always alert when a person or a cat approaches. It's like an alarm, as her barking alerts us that someone is at the door or in the garden. Ambar and I understand each other, we speak the most universal language that exists, which is Love. Her barking has different vocalizations and intensity, it all depends on what she wants from me. She is very intelligent. With cats I have never been able to have that communication to understand them, there is no empathy. And the same thing happens to Ambar with cats.
Beyond the fact that my pet Ambar and cats don't understand each other... That can also happen among people, and I apologize for the analogy: without any words, without having done anything to you, a person makes you dislike them or they don't like you. Without having had any previous contact or even just a glance or a few words, that person gives you a "bad feeling". With that short phrase that we use in my country in a few words, we describe that a person dislikes us. Has that ever happened to you?
Don't worry if it has happened to you, it is nothing abnormal what is happening to you. That rejection we feel towards a person we don't know has an explanation, since in the field of psychology studies have been carried out on the subject and several reasons or motives for the rejection of a person can be inferred.
Our brain and hormones can "see" things in a person we hardly know that put us on alert. It detects in an instinctive way, we carry it in our genes as a matter of survival, it somehow puts us on alert just by seeing a person if we like them or dislike them. The truth is that it may be intuition or the ability to discern that tells us something we don't like about certain people.
The brain always recognises if we are being deceived and is quickly activated when it notices something we don't like. Non-verbal language such as the way they dress, if they are shy, and even their body odour are some of the factors that can alienate us from a person. If a person shies away from eye contact, this is another factor that generates distrust, immediately our brain generates an alert that this person is hiding something from us, these are reasons that make it easier for this person to be disliked.
Another of the factors that makes us distance ourselves from a person because we don't like them is summed up in this example: just two months ago a neighbour in my street sold her house to leave the country with her whole family and the new owner of the house is a lady who has already been disliked by the neighbours. This neighbour suddenly arrived and started to talk about her family affairs, about her intimacies and problems, talking incessantly all the time without letting others do so, always claiming to be in the right, she has shown on several occasions that she is not at all discreet, meddling in the private lives of others. This lady has been disliked. Her way of speaking, her body language does not generate trust among the people she has dealt with since she arrived as a new neighbour.
The people you have at your side, your friends are your decision... And staying away from people you don't like is also your decision. Just remember that there is a reason why your brain gives you the alert.
There is a phrase that says "I am not a gold coin for everybody to like me",
And you ... are you a gold coin? do people like you?

¿Cómo has decidido vivir tu vida? ¿Estas anclado en emociones fuertes?

Delayed Onset Muscle Pain.
For some time now I have been feeling that I can no longer wait to exercise my body. Since Monday, at the beginning of the week, I finally decided to go to a gym. I don't procrastinate anymore. Last Monday was my first day of training with an instructor who tells me what routine to do and what part of my body to exercise. In my case my whole body needs exercise. I am almost rusty.
Today is my third day and I already feel sore all over my body, to be more precise, the pain has been there since the first day of exercise when I got home, I couldn't move my legs. In fact, I couldn't sleep well last night. I found it hard to fall asleep, despite taking a muscle relaxant. According to the gym instructor, the muscle pain I felt was normal, the strange thing would be if I didn't feel any pain, because it would indicate that the exercises were not giving the expected results.
According to the gym instructor, the pain I am experiencing is a "delayed onset muscle soreness", which is the multiple microscopic tears in the muscle fibers. It happens when the exercised muscles undergo significant physical strain when performing exercise routines and these small tears are a natural response to exertion. The muscle soreness occurs within hours of starting the workout and can last up to a week, not during the workout, but after the workout is completed.
I am clear about the pain I experience after the workout because if it is pain while exercising, it means that I am not doing something right. The exercise I do is moderate in order to prepare my body in a correct way and normally it should not be painful, that is to say, it should not cause pain during the execution of the exercise routines.
From what the instructor tells me, one way to reduce the effects of muscle soreness in the first week is to do a warm-up routine for the muscles before starting the exercises for the legs, arms, and then the whole body. Muscles become more flexible when you warm up for about 10 minutes.
When I get home from the gym I feel the muscle aches the most, I have a stiff feeling and I don't even want to move. I wait about half an hour before I go into the shower. And before going to sleep I take a muscle relaxant. I just hope that this week will pass quickly so that I can feel free of this uncomfortable ailment.
However, I feel upbeat, optimistic about the exercise routines, the atmosphere in the gym is cheerful and the company of the other people doing the exercises makes the hour and a half of training in the afternoons go by very quickly. The exercises are done in an open space and all the people are distanced from each other so that they can move around as they maintain the sanitary measures required by the pandemic situation we are all going through.
I hope that my muscles will get used to the exercise after a few days and that the muscle pain will go away. Apart from taking painkillers at night before going to sleep, I am drinking ginger tea. Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory, it helps to relieve muscle contraction and minimize muscle aches.
It also helps, illogically enough, to keep training every day to reduce muscle soreness and speed healing. The gym instructor recommends if the soreness is too intense to take a day or two off and let those micro-tears heal, I'll particularly allow Saturday and Sunday to rest as my workout routine at the gym is Monday to Friday. I'm sure I'll survive until the weekend to rest lying in my bed. The weekend is coming soon!
I am grateful to God, for being alive and allowing me to enjoy life in a healthy and joyful way, for giving me energy and vitality every day of my life, despite the pain situations we go through. I don't mean muscular pain but the pain and tribulations of the environment we live in.
I am grateful to be on this wonderful platform. Read.cash allows me to have additional income through the generous tips from the always awaited bot and from all the people who follow my articles, from the sponsors who with their sponsorship bring their great blessing, never in the current economic situation in my country would I have been able to be in a gym, where the monthly cancellation could not be paid with my current salary. Happy and grateful to God, to life, to read.cash, and to all of you. God bless you all.

Working with Great Dedication
Days ago I booked an appointment to go to the hairdresser's. It's near my house, in the same residential area where I live. The hairdresser used to have her shop in a shopping center but because of the pandemic she had to close her shop and bring all her belongings from the shop to her home. Now the main room of her house is decorated and furnished with the atmosphere of a hairdressing salon. It's better for me to have her nearby because I can't go to the shopping center where she used to be.
With her you have to make an appointment in advance, you can't go on the same day with the idea that she will attend you after leaving a client, in fact when I went to make my appointment she was attending to a lady, I could wait there sitting there until she finished with that lady who was attending because I am used to waiting as I do in other hairdressers where I have gone. No, that's not how she works, and I understood why she works like that the day I went to my 9 am appointment.
As things happen when one has a fixed appointment, that day of the appointment I woke up late in the morning and without the remote thought that I had a fixed appointment to go to the hairdresser's. But with a strong feeling that I had something to do, but I couldn't remember what. Has anything like that ever happened to you?
Shortly after getting up and still with the mind that I had something to do, the thought of the appointment with the hairdresser suddenly came to me, it was as if an electronic device was switched on in my mind, I jumped running to see the time, 8.30 am. It gives me time to take a bath, get ready, and leave without breakfast, impossible to have breakfast with so little time. I just had coffee.
I arrived at exactly 9:05 am, she was already waiting for me ready to start with me. Until I told her that I had left my house so fast that I didn't have breakfast. She jumped out of her chair where she was sitting and said she was already preparing breakfast for me. WHAT?
The hairdresser said to me: "when I attend to a client she has to come to my salon without any hurry to attend to a boy at home and well breakfasted, so that she is comfortable in my salon all the time while I work on her hair". I was surprised by the delicious breakfast she prepared for me: an arepa made with flour and grated carrot, the filling inside was a fried egg mixed with cheese and a cup of coffee with milk. Everything was delicious, I really didn't expect that kind of attention from her, I was surprised.
After the delicious breakfast she offered me, she started working on my hair at about 10 am. I was only going for a wash, cut, dry, and iron. Normally in another hairdresser that job would take about two hours. Here with her it was from 10am until after 2pm. More than four hours of work with dedication and care. She took her time and patience to cut small strands of hair, minimizing the chance of a bad cut and then drying and ironing it with great care.
Now I understood about the appointments. She dedicates herself with great care and attention to each client. She likes to do her work with care, looking for perfection in every cut with the scissors, and for that she spends time doing it little by little, measuring every detail, and with great effort, she wants to see an impeccable final work. And with me she did it, I loved the cut and the ironing. Just as I wanted. For me the final result was perfect. I have already arranged another appointment with her for the end of the month to apply a hair treatment and reduce some volume to my hair because I am very similar to "Mafalda", people who know that Argentinean cartoon character will understand what I mean. And she told me that it would be more dedication, so I had to be mentally prepared to stay longer. Now I understood her very well. The time is not important if not the dedication for a perfect result.
The dedication to the work is also linked to concentration. The hairdresser concentrated a lot on taking care of my hair and dedicating time to her work. Another example, here at read.cash, writers who do their content with care concentrate on what they write. They need time to generate a good idea, they need time to think about the words that will flow, to give meaning and purpose to what they write in order to leave a good message, a reflection, and to generate more ideas in the other writers that follow them. A writer who works with care will re-read what he writes several times before publishing, to see if he made any mistakes or if what he wants to convey is not logical in his thoughts, and then after re-reading it he publishes it. It is because of this care in writing, this concentration in what they do and this dedication, that every time I read an article in read.cash I find quality articles with excellent content.
Dedication to work is a virtue that some people possess, but not all human beings possess it. It manifests itself in wanting and doing things in the best possible way, seeking perfection, to avoid the slightest failure or error. You are not born with this virtue, because it is not a natural talent. It is the attitude a person has when it comes to doing a job.
The home upbringing that children receive from an early age has a great influence on their attitude towards work and home and school work. Children who are not taught by their parents to focus on responsibility and respect do not understand the importance of doing a job with dedication and care. It is in the first years of life that the most important aspects of our existence are defined and among them are our personality traits. Although there is a genetic load that defines our experiences, aspects such as respect for others and a sense of responsibility should be part of the elementary education of children, and parents are responsible for instilling these values in their children from a very early age.
And you, do you dedicate time and care to the work you do?
Thank you for taking the time to read my posts and comment. I really appreciate it, it was written with care for you.
Thanks to my dear sponsors for your great support, you are the best.

Mango, My Favourite Fruit.
One of my favourite fruits is the mango. The first memories of my childhood have mangoes in a special place in my memory. The first mother's house I remember when I was very young was a house with a huge yard, which had several mango trees. I lived there until I was 8 years old, when my parents decided to move to the east of the country.
I remember when we got into the moving car, and as we drove away I could see from the car window when the children, neighbours of the place, went into the yard to cut down the mango trees. I have that childhood memory.
Then when we arrived in the east, in our new house there was also a yard, not as big as the one we had left behind, but with great joy, I saw an immense mango tree, it was only one tree, but it was enough to fill my heart with joy and erase some of the sadness that a move produces in the life of a small girl. These are memories that remain in my mind, I don't know if they are the product of nostalgia for a move or the fact of thinking about leaving the mango trees that I loved so much.
My mother, always dedicated to cooking, used to prepare all kinds of delicacies with the ripe mango fruit. She would make delicious ice creams and natural milkshakes with the pulp of ripe mangoes. But her speciality was the jams, either of green or ripe mangoes. The texture and consistency made the jam special. They could be cut with a knife. They were sour or sweet, it all depended on the fruit.
At my current house, we don't have mango trees, and I don't want to grow any seeds that have germinated in the yard. I pull them up when they germinate because my yard is small and the mango tree is very large and with thick roots that protrude from the surface of the ground, they raise cement constructions over the years when the tree is mature.
The mango when ripe I use in my kitchen as one of the ingredients for my salads. With lettuce, tomato, cucumber and mango, all chopped into small pieces and seasoned with olive oil, a touch of vinegar and salt. You have a great salad as an accompaniment to your main course.
If the mango is green, place it without the shell in boiling water, let the pulp soften for about half an hour. Take it out of the water and puree it when it is cold. Place the puree, which looks like a baby compote, in a blender, add a little onion, a green chilli pepper, a sprig of parsley, a clove of garlic, a dash of olive oil and salt. Blend all the ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous paste. It can be used to accompany a variety of foods and vegetables such as steamed potatoes or meat and fish. It looks like a guacamole and has an exquisite taste.
The mango is very common in all tropical areas of the world, and in Venezuela it is very popular throughout the country. The mango fruit is obtained from the mango tree. It is oval in shape. The pulp is very delicious and it is considered the king of the tropical fruits. It is a sweet and refreshing fruit when ripe, its pulp varies from yellow to orange. When consumed green it is acidic. I prefer it ripe for its easy consumption and digestion.
Among the curiosities of the mango I can tell you, according to what I could research about the fruit worldwide that it is considered the fruit of love in India, giving mango as a gift in India is a great sign of friendship, although let me say that in Venezuela if a person deserves mangoes, I consider him a great friend.
It is a fruit with great medicinal benefits, to tone the heart, liver, strengthens tissues and prevents premature ageing. Now that I know more about the benefits of mangoes, especially that they combat dryness and burning eyes due to their high vitamin A content when prepared as discussed, I will eat them with much more pleasure.
I hope that mango is also your favourite fruit.
In the comments you can tell me if it is not, you can also tell me: What is your favourite fruit?

Fear of sleeping Alone
I turn off the light in my room to sleep, almost immediately my granddaughter comes in and says to me in a tearful voice: "Grandma, please, can I stay with you and sleep in your bed?"
This happened last night because my granddaughter's parents have been insisting for many days that she has to sleep in her room. Her mother has stayed several times to keep the child company until she falls asleep, but in the early morning when they are completely asleep, she puts them back to bed. Last night they locked their door to prevent the child from coming into their room, and she came into my room. Today in the morning I talked to my granddaughter and told her that it was only for one time, she will not sleep with me for the next few nights.
I know that accepting her in my room was not the right thing to do because far from making her feel safe and secure I interfere with her independence and security. The right thing would have been for me to take her back to her room and stay with her for a while until she calmed down and fell asleep. But I confess that she stirred my grandmotherly heart as she came crying for company.
Fear is a universal emotion, all human beings have gone through those fears of sleeping alone and in the dark. Children have this fear of the dark and it is a normal emotion. Who among us did not experience this night fear as a child? It is one of the most common childhood fears.
I always recommend to parents that a child should not watch horror or mystery films, especially in the evening hours a few hours before going to bed. Such films are not made for the little ones. Their minds do not distinguish between reality and fiction. In fact, even we adults don't.
The night is the perfect time to draw monsters and ghosts in every corner or in every movement of a curtain at the window. In the silence and darkness, the child's imagination flies and produces figures of terror in those moments when they are alone before going to sleep.
Most children between 7 and 10 years of age begin to see the problems that may occur in their family environment and become more sensitive to their reality. They are also aware of the concept of death, they begin to understand that there is an end for all people and living beings. They are more sensitive to the death of a pet. They begin to understand aspects of reality, for example, negative appraisals, anxiety about school work, difficulties in being with other children, their fragile self-esteem, possible separation from parents, are some aspects that can make it difficult for children to fall asleep.
The children have to understand that there is no danger at home, that even if they sleep alone in their room, their parents are close by. They must have a conversation and let them know that under no circumstances should they spend the night in bed with their parents. Let them understand that it is good to sleep close but not together.
It is good to create a bedtime routine, establish a healthy eating routine, a glass of milk, for example, reading a children's story or a beautiful family story, with a language of love and affection to create a relaxed atmosphere before bedtime. The child will feel relaxed, accompanied, and very safe.
It is good to leave a low-intensity light on and above all not to close the bedroom door. If the child still goes back to the parents' room at night, in an affectionate but authoritative tone of voice, repeat to the child that he or she should be in his or her room and accompany him or her back to bed.
Do not allow them to stay in your room, be consistent in your routine. After a while, the child will get used to sleeping alone.
Do you have a story similar to my granddaughter's?... are you afraid of sleeping alone and in the dark?
Thank you for following my posts and for your comments.

My Mother's Homemade Bread
I was born in Venezuela, but since I was a child at home our food and cultural traditions came from Europe, specifically from Portugal, because of my parents. Their country of birth was Portugal. It is a country located in the south of Europe in the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain.
My mother was a housewife, one of the activities she did with great love and care was cooking. Mother had a special gift for seasoning her dishes. Cod in salt, tuna with vinaigrette, grilled sardines were dishes that mother seasoned with great love and with the European touch of olive oil.
She prepared delicious dishes with lots of vegetables and above all she had a knack for preparing homemade bread every day. The traditional Venezuelan arepa was not consumed at home. It was not customary to make arepa at home, just like hallacas, which is a traditional Venezuelan dish eaten in December. https://read.cash/@rodriguezpct/the-versatile-venezuelan-arepas-17dfb893
I remember that it was when I was about 10 years old that we started to eat hallacas and arepas at home, thanks to a lady who became a good friend of my mother. As the lady was from Caracas, my mother made the arepas and hallacas in the Caracas style, even though we lived in the east of the country, far away from Caracas.
Mum was a specialist in baking bread. It was a delight to eat the bread fresh out of the oven, or made with the round shape of the dough placed in a simple aluminium frying pan on a low flame on the kitchen cooker. I still remember the aroma of the hot bread made by my mother. I remember that my mother used the simple ingredients: wheat flour, yeast, water and salt. She would separate the ready-made dough into large balls, and place each portion of dough on a large cloth on the table, separating each of the dough balls with the creases of the same cloth, then she would put flour like baby powder on each dough ball, cover them with the cloth and let them rest for two hours before putting them in the frying pan.
Let's talk about bread today, the bread we make now in my house. The important thing about eating bread is that it is eaten in a varied way and that its ingredients include nutrients. Nowadays we don't use yeast as much as my mother did, we prepare sourdough, which is obtained from the spontaneous fermentation of flour and water.
There are nutritional benefits to making bread with sourdough. The glycemic index with sourdough is lower than with yeast bread, and bread made with sourdough has an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. The important thing when eating bread is that it is made with healthy ingredients and that it is eaten in small portions per day.
Going back to my childhood, at home my mother had the knack of making the most spectacular bread fillings with the most spectacular natural ingredients made from natural tuna or salt cod, all crumbled up. Now here at home, my son inherited the art of bread making from his grandmother. He's an expert at pasteles (empanadas made with wheat flour) and tequeños.
...And in making my mum's biscuits. If she were here in my house, she would be proud of the legacy she left her grandson. I love you, Mom.
Do you guys at home eat bread every day...what fillings do you put in it?
