David reveals the identity of the saints in Jude 1:14
Enoch prophesied that the Lord will come with ten thousands of his SAINTS. Pretribbers claimed that those saints are the believers and that the said coming will happen after the tribulation and thus proving that the rapture could not be posttrib because the saints were already in Heaven with the Lord during the tribulation and that they will accompany Him as He comes down in Armageddon after the trib.
Jude 1:14
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with TEN THOUSANDS OF HIS SAINTS,
But I argue that those saints aren't the believers. Those are ANGELS.
Here let us get the verse having an almost exact wordings about the saints in Jude 1:14
Deuteronomy 33:2
And he said, The LORD came from SINAI, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with TEN THOUSANDS OF SAINTS: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
The context of that verse is when Moses was blessing the children of Israel. He was recalling what happened in Sinai- the time when the Lord gave them the fiery law. So Moses recalled that during that time the Lord was accompanied by TEN THOUSANDS SAINTS.
Obviously, the saints there aren't the Israelites. And most of all, the saints there could NOT be us, believers! Christ was not even manifested in the flesh that time and so those saints could not be Christians.
Now, let us go to David. Have a closer look. David did reveal the identity of those SAINTS in Deuteronomy 33:2 and in so doing he is revealing the identity of the saints in JUDE 1:14 too.
Psalms 68:17
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even THOUSANDS OF ANGELS : THE LORD IS AMONG THEM ,AS IN SINAI , in the holy place.
Who is among with the Lord in SINAI according to Moses?
*THOUSANDS OF SAINTS!
Who is among with the Lord in SINAI according to David?
*THOUSANDS OF ANGELS!
Hence, those saints are actually ANGELS.
The word SAINTS is synonymous with the word HOLY. Infact, in the original text of the Bible the Greek word for saints is the same Greek word for holy. Hence, saints is equal to holy.
Angels were referred to as HOLY, a.k.a SAINTS in the Bible.
Matthew 25:31
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the HOLY ANGELS with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mark 8:38
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the HOLY ANGELS .
Luke 9:26
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the HOLY ANGELS .
Revelation 14:10
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the HOLY ANGELS , and in the presence of the Lamb:
