Peace and Good health to all of you my brothers and sisters in this wonderful community. Happy New Monday to one and all. How are you?
Ugh! I've wasted three days to possibly get an extra earnings again. I was kind of sad but on the other hand, when it comes to living life of how I want it to be, I must say, it's worth the risk. Risk in the sense that I willingly gave up my chance to earn a bit more in here to be able to enjoy my life in the real world.
Last February 01 this year, the hosted Barangay (our Barangay) posted an info regarding the Sport Tournament to be held of the said place in connection for the upcoming Fiesta Celebration of St. Lourdes. The same day, one of the committees, made a gc (group chat) for all the participating teams from the different barangays who are invited to join the said tournaments, both Basketball and Volleyball (Mens and Women's). But of course, only representatives were allowed to join the group chat to minimize unnecessary conversations. Then the following day, they called up a Briefing session in which the participants were given of instructions and other necessary informations needed related to the tournament.
Starting with, last February 3 this year, the Volleyball Tournament officially started. Of course, the best strategy for us to know the opponents is to watch how they play inside the court. Well, I didn't spent the whole time watching especially that I am on my period, so, I went home after few games and took some rest.
Rain or Shine it may, the game still continues...
We decided to divide our team into two. One as "Team Sk" and the other as "Team Nanay", its because they told us to do so. Given the fact that we also have many players, that way we can also give chance to other players to participate especially the new members (amateur ones). As for the Mens Team, they decided to only have one entry.
Team Nanay lost in the first game. As for the boys and ours, we were able to gain one win each.
During the night, other teams from different barangay had their games under the moderate to heavy rains. Well, in that case, everyone agreed about it already. The type of tournament is Double Elimination.
On the fifth day of February (yesterday), the Basketball tournament also started. This time, the type of tournament is Single Elimination which means, if the team losses the game, they will automatically out in the tournament. Each teams were eager to wins, but only those who got the advance skills and scores more will gain the winning spot. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take some photos this time.
Earlier today, the Basketball games continues. The boys team here in our Barangay didn't able to make it. At 2 pm today, the Volleyball games also continues in Women's Division up until 5-6 pm.
Then, the rest of the night were scheduled for the Mens Division. But, I decided not to watch because I felt really tired and cold. The rain keeps pouring, so I should really just stay in bed now and spend time with Rhed.
Final Thoughts:
Sports really gives me the comfort especially the most favorite one that I love to play which is Volleyball. For now, we are waiting for our game schedule but we also knew our next opponent. This is one of the teams that we always dream to win against of. The Hitudpan Volley Hitters.
