How many years does it take you to understand this truth? Or are you still living in this bubble thinking happiness comes with materialistic wellbeing or depends on a successful life?

I would never say that you are responsible if you think this way. Because we all are victims of the system. The social system always forces us to achieve, reach a peak and do more to be successful.

Don't you come across many happy faces who are not successful in life? Maybe your grandparents who did farming for living? Or maybe someone random who seems like living the greatest life without any worries?

It's because success and happiness are not living in the same line, they are not linked.

There's such a rule that a wealthy person can not be happy. Or a graph where more wealth means decreasing in happiness. No, please don't misjudge these two.

Wealth and success are two different things. Sometimes only success can make someone happy. Many times the comfort that comes with wealth also can make us happier. But there's no guarantee that this will always work this way. On the other hand, unsuccessful life doesn't come with a guarantee of happiness.

What I meant to say is, living a very basic life, without achieving something extraordinary, not having some uplifting goals, not having many medals or a high academic career doesn't mean that person can never be happy. It's okay to live a simple life.

Bangladesh has climbed seven notches from last year and secured the 91st position among 163 countries in Global Peace Index for 2021.

This statement is proof of what I'm trying to say.

Why we are one of the happiest countries?

Because we are more connected to life than rushing to achieve the materialistic goals set by the capitalistic society. I strongly believe, this works the same on our personal level too.

Don't feel pity seeing others' hardship. You can care for, give your support, and respect them. But never think that they are less happy because they are not an achiever. Maybe it's your classmate, maybe some of your relatives, maybe the one who is living in the village. This is what I came to realize happiness and success are not linked, they never were like society told us.

I wish we could be taught differently. So now we can focus on the things that matter most in life, to be happy and peaceful rather than rushing to be successful.

Happiness for me doesn't rely with the things on this world or whatever we have, the more we live a simple life the more we became satisfied and happy with our life.

We can't buy happiness with wealth. It is something our inner feelings which never related with metallic approach. Success never guarantee of happiness because success connected with our physical existence and happiness connected with soul.
