The lack of empathy from health professionals in my country is more than disappointing. If you're not with your guts out, bathed in blood and unconscious, they don't pay attention to you. Your symptoms don't matter, that's nothing they tell you, while you're holding on by your fingernails to get through each day. I'm going one step at a time, but what a disappointment.
