The fear of risk often holds us back. Sometimes it’s not the failure we’re afraid of, but the uncertainty that comes with trying something new. But growth doesn’t happen in the comfort zone—it happens when we take that first step despite the fear. If you’re feeling scared, that’s usually a sign you’re on the verge of something meaningful. Take the risk. Lean into the discomfort. That’s where the real breakthroughs begin.

Hinihintay ka nila araw-araw, kaya wag mo sana kalimutang dumalaw. If you have enough or extra time and means para magtravel, hindi ba't more than any beaches, mountains, famous landmarks and any sceneries, iba padin ang gigising ka sa umaga na kasama sila mag-almusal sa mesa. To young peeps, we still have a long lifetime to spend traveling anywhere we want and as long as our health condition can, pero sila ay nasa dapit-hapon na ng kanilang pananatili sa ilalim ng araw. Having them inches away from you is totally irreplaceable than any good Instagrammable photos travelling elsewhere. Just a simple reminder of how preciously wonderful this life is when spent wisely having no regrets in the end.
Being kind to yourself costs nothing too— I hope you won't forget that. I hope before you get busy looking out for your family, caring for them, giving you extra to your friends— you'll remember yourself first. I hope you have the drive to be kind to yourself, more than anybody else. I know there's this heaviness inside you. I know your silence means storms in your head. You have unsaid thoughts and overwhelming feelings, and I hope you won't forget to treat yourself softly because if you can apply it to others, you deserve it as well.
A habit I find worth practicing is reminding the self that what we know is always limited ...and replacing the shame of not knowing with curiosity 🔭⭐️💫 I will never know myself fully within my lifetime I'll never fully understand what others are going through, even if our experiences are similar and there will always be an abundance of things to know about the world around me (and beyond!) And no, not even AI can keep up with the sheer amount of knowledge produced each day ☺️ "People do the best that they can with the wisdom that they have" - Terry Crews Stay curious!
You don’t have to be fearless to move forward. Sometimes, courage simply means trying again even when your hands still shake. It’s okay to be scared, to doubt yourself, to wonder if you’ll ever make it — but keep going anyway. That’s where strength is built. Do it afraid. Do it unsure. Do it imperfectly. Because every small step, even the trembling ones, still moves you closer to the life you’re meant to live. One day, you’ll look back and realize that everything you pushed through — the fear, the worry, the hesitation — was worth it. You didn’t have to be the bravest. You just had to try.
I am not gonna lie, sometimes I wish I could just disappear and never come back. I wish I could just run away from everyone. Everything makes me sad, and sometimes, I just want to disappear just so I could never feel anything. I realized that I am not okay all along, I am just moving with the flow of life. I am just trying to ignore the sadness that I feel inside. But at the end of the day, I still feel like dying with the sadness in my chest. Sadness keeps me up all night. It haunts me everywhere. It visits me when I'm alone and it follows me whenever I'm with people. I am not gonna lie, sometimes I feel so sick of it. It's hard to be okay. And the truth is, I feel like I'm not going to be okay.
Love doesn’t demand, it understands. Be kind, but also be wise
I thought about dough the other day. You mix all the right things…flour, water, yeast. But here’s the thing: If you rush it, it stays flat. If you let it rest, it rises. And I realized… maybe life works the same way. You do your best. You hustle. You give your all. But if you never pause, you never rise. Rest isn’t being lazy. Rest is part of becoming. So if lately you’ve been slowing down…sleeping in, saying no, breathing more.. that’s okay. You’re not falling behind. You’re rising quietly. Some things just need time to rise… and you’re one of them.
it's always the 'bunso' talaga, 'no? while those older siblings are excited to build their career and leave the house— there is our 'bunso' who will left behind in the four corner of the house. sometimes, they used to live in the loud and full of laughing voices inside the house, eat together in the dinning table, then the next thing they knew— they are all alone, no one is around anymore. it made me realized that those youngest are also the strongest— that they are also growing up, but they are doing it alone. mahigpit na yakap sa mga bunso out there!
Leaders often rush to question performance but rarely pause to ask, “Have we created a space where people feel safe, supported, and seen?” Because even the most passionate people will wither in a place that forgets how to nurture them. Growth doesn’t happen through pressure. It happens through care. 🤍
At some point, I started to believe I had to become someone worth staying for. Every version of me thought the next one would finally be enough - the strong one, the quiet one, the one who never gave up. Now I’m slowly unlearning that love was never something to earn, only something to let in.
Most people don’t mind working hard. What truly drains them isn’t the workload it’s the pressure without appreciation, the responsibilities without support, and the achievements that go unnoticed. When employees constantly feel like they’re walking on eggshells, when their efforts are unseen and their voices unheard, even the simplest tasks start to feel heavy. People rarely burn out because of the work itself. They burn out because of the environment surrounding it one that lacks trust, recognition, and genuine care.
A year ago, Emman was interviewd in Toni Talks about dealing with mental health struggles. She lived her purpose, and she was able to help other people go through the same condition. But today, it breaks our hearts to learn that she’s gone. It's a painful reminder that sometimes, the ones who bring the most light are the ones fighting battles we never see. 🥺 We really don’t know what someone is carrying inside. We don’t always see the pain behind the smiles or the weight behind the laughter. That’s why kindness matters. Every word, every gesture, every bit of compassion. Let's respect the privacy of the Atienza Family. It's time to extend our prayers to them in these grieving times. #emmanatienza #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters
EMMAN’S STORY BROKE MANY HEARTS. 💔 She was just a little girl when her world changed. What was supposed to be a safe home became a place of fear. The person everyone trusted to care for her was the same person who destroyed her innocence. At only 3 or 4 years old, she was treated harshly, humiliated, and forced to see things no child should ever see. She was silenced before she could even understand what was happening. She thought it was normal, so she stayed quiet. While other children were learning to laugh and dream, she was learning to survive. While others felt love, she felt fear. Her parents never knew. She carried everything in silence, believing that pain was just part of life. But that silence, that weight, it grew heavier as she got older. Until one day, she couldn’t carry it anymore. She was only nineteen. Too young to give up, but too tired to keep fighting the battles no one saw. This should open every parent’s eyes. Be careful who you trust with your child. Not every smile is kind. Not every gentle voice is safe. Pay attention to your child’s eyes. Listen when they grow quiet. Ask, even when they don’t speak. And if you can, protect them with every tool you have. Because sometimes, the danger isn’t outside your home, it’s already inside. We can’t bring Emman back, but her story can protect others. Her pain must not be in vain. Rest in peace, Emman Atienza. 🕊️ Your voice will echo through every parent who chooses to protect their child better.

Leaders must listen. Leaders must care. 🌱 But leaders must never be controlled. Some employees use manipulation - excuses, fragility, or blame - to escape accountability. When leaders allow this, clarity collapses. And when clarity collapses, the whole team pays the price. True leadership is not about being pulled by strings. It’s about standing firm, cutting manipulation, and protecting clarity. Follow us for leadership that protects, decides, and delivers results. ⚔️🛡️
Women's Run 2025 It was an unforgettable run in many ways. It can be someone’s first time to run at UP. For others, it was a blast running under the rain. Some, beating their own personal record. For some, showing up for their own. Others have a blast lining up for freebies. And for most runners, horrible because of the muddy scene at Sunken Garden. No matter what makes it unforgettable, let’s always remember to be human. Your thoughts and feedback are totally valid, and no one’s taking them away from you. You can share your feedback and suggestions without profanity and using below the belt words towards the organizers. Sad lang na this run is for women empowerment but most degrading feedbacks came from women as well. If tayong runners ay disappointed, paano pa yung RD (Ma’am Nicole) and her team? For sure, they have it planned months ago and they envision for what’s the best. Still, it could have been better. Hopefully concerns about unclaimed loot bags, medals, kits can be addressed. It costs nothing to be kind.
Stop normalizing shaming employees for resigning. Leaving isn’t betrayal—sometimes,it’s growth.
Don’t just align yourself to your ideals pag di na talaga nag work ang friendship it’s time to let go na.” Watch: https://bit.ly/4lY8LaJ4
Being selective doesn’t mean you’ve changed for the worse. It means you’ve learned from what broke you. You can still have a soft heart and a strong mind. Choosing who gets close is not selfish; it’s self-care. You’re no longer chasing approval or begging to be understood, you’re simply choosing peace over chaos, and that’s a sign of maturity. A pure heart with stronger walls still shines the brightest. Keep loving, but love wisely. Keep giving, but give where it grows. Protect your energy the way you protect your dreams. Not everyone deserves access to your soul, and that’s okay. You’re not building walls; you’re building gates and only those who bring honesty, respect, and light should be allowed to enter. Who you let close can shape your peace. Choose wisely.
Finished my 1st 10km run!💪
Imagine placing a frog in a pot of cool water. It’s calm, unbothered — unaware of what’s coming. The heat rises slowly, almost kindly. The frog adjusts, thinking, “I can handle this.” But little by little, the warmth becomes danger. The frog adapts again. Then again. Until it’s too late. By the time the water boils, its energy is gone — its strength, spent on endurance instead of escape. It doesn’t die from the heat. It dies from staying too long in something that was slowly destroying it. This is the Boiling Frog Syndrome, and it’s not just a metaphor — it’s a mirror. How many of us do the same? We stay in toxic jobs, draining relationships, or unhealthy habits, telling ourselves: “It’s not that bad.” “It’ll get better.” “I’ll deal with it later.” But later becomes too late. The slow burn of tolerance turns to exhaustion. We adapt to pain instead of confronting it — until we no longer have the strength to jump out. The lesson is painfully simple: 🔥 Don’t wait until it’s unbearable to protect yourself. Set boundaries early. Walk away sooner. Speak up while your voice still has power. Your peace, your sanity, your soul — they’re worth more than silent suffering. Sometimes survival isn’t about fighting harder. It’s about leaving sooner. Because in life, the heat will always rise. But you still have a choice — to stay in the pot, or to leap toward freedom. 🕊️
He knows. He knows what you’ve been struggling with, the things you’ve been keeping in your heart for so long. He knows what’s been breaking you in secret, the pain you can’t put into words, the tears you’ve tried to hide. He knows the prayers you whisper at night and the questions you still don’t have answers to. When others see only the smile you show, He sees the story behind it. When others see failure, He sees faithfulness. When others overlook, He notices. When others misjudge, He understands. He sees what others can’t. While people see the surface, God looks deeper. So much of what He truly values is hidden from human eyes. He sees your heart. To you who feel unseen or misunderstood, remember this: His gaze is not one of judgment but of love. May you see with eyes of faith how God sees you, and may you learn to live not for the fleeting applause of others, but for the steady approval of the One who truly sees. Shalom. ——— You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, you, Lord, know it completely. Psalm 139:1-4 Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
Her words taught millions that it is possible to feel broken and still crave the small joys of living. Baek Se-hee, the author of "I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki", gave the world one of the most honest portrayals of depression ever written. Through her vulnerability, she helped countless people feel seen, understood, and less alone. She passed away at only 35 years old. But even in death, she chose kindness... donating her heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys to save five lives. Baek’s story is not just about pain. It’s about courage. About choosing to stay, even when life feels unbearable. About finding hope in something as simple as a bowl of tteokbokki. Her words will continue to comfort the ones still fighting in silence. #BaekSeHee #MentalHealthAwareness #RestInPeace
Stop normalizing rewarding only the loud and visible employees. Just because someone’s quiet doesn’t mean they’re not contributing.
Friendship is one of the scariest kinds of love because you never see the ending coming. One day you’re inseparable, and the next, you’re just a name that used to mean everything. 💔🙁
