Condensed milk is nothing more than liquid milk from which water has been extracted and sugar added, resulting in a thick, sweet-tasting liquid that can be kept refrigerated for a long time.
1 liter of liquid milk (you can use powdered milk)
250 gr of sugar
In a saucepan over medium heat pour the ingredients, stirring occasionally, as soon as it reaches the boil, lower the flame and continue to move the mixture.
Little by little the amount will be reduced by approximately half, it will turn yellowish and will thicken, when this happens you can remove it from the fire.
Using a wire whisk, beat for a few minutes to avoid crystals in the mixture while it cools.
You must bear in mind that when totally cold the mixture will thicken a little more.
There are other methods to make condensed milk, but in my opinion, this is cheaper and easier.
Now you can use it in the preparation of other desserts or as a delicious snack!
