The cinnamon roll was created in the 1920s in Europe and was a dish that only the very wealthy could afford, now due to globalization and certain facilities that did not exist at the time, this snack is within reach Everyone to make our afternoon afternoons an experience worthy of the high European nobility, so let's unwind tasting some cinnamon rolls.


  • 1 cup warm milk

  • 2 and ½ teaspoons of yeast

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 4 and ½ cups of wheat flour without baking powder.


  • 2 teaspoons of butter

  • 1 cup grated paper

  • 3 tablespoons of cinnamon powder.


In a container you place the yeast and dilute with the milk, let it rest for ten minutes, in a bowl mix the eggs, sugar, melted butter and salt, add the yeast, then beating, gradually add the flour, stirring until all the ingredients are integrated, knead until the dough is homogeneous and firm, if you see that the flour is missing you can add little by little.

You make a ball and keep in a greased container until it doubles its size, approximately 1 hour.

Apart in a container mix the paper with the cinnamon and leave it reserved.

With the dough ready you crush and make a rectangle, brush with butter and bathe the stretched dough with the paper and cinnamon, roll carefully and use a knife to cut into rolls.

You put on a greased tray and with flour, let it rest for half an hour.

Put the tray in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 25 minutes until golden.

You can make a covering of condensed milk, cream cheese or grated cheese, a syrup of your choice.
