This is one of those easy and 100% customizable cakes, it's almost a blank canvas where you can add your magic touch.
200 g of sugar
200 g of flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of milk cream
1/2 cup of egg whites (3 or so)
1 cup of sugar
Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks until they sponge and pale, add half the sugar and the vanilla. Separately beat the egg whites until stiff with the rest of the sugar. Very gently add the sifted flour to the yolk mixture
Mix until well combined. Next, add 3 generous tablespoons of the snow whites mixture to the yolks with flour. It is important to stir very gently so that the air in the mixture is not lost.
Now you will do the opposite, incorporate little by little
Mix the yolks and flour in the egg whites bowl, trying to combine very gently so that the mixture does not come down.
Pour this mixture into a previously greased mold (I use a refractory) and take it to the oven for 20 to 25 min at 180 ° C or until the stick comes out clean.
Besides, in the blender, mix the 3 milks and reserve.
Once the cake is ready, you have the option of unmolding (before bathing it) or you leave it in the mold. Let it rest a little, and here it goes to your liking, the longer you let it cool the less it will absorb the milks.
That is, some of us like a super moist sponge cake, which does not swim in liquid and others like the opposite. If you want the sponge cake to absorb the milks (and do not swim in them) bathe it hot. If you want it to be soggy, bathe it when it cools completely.
Remember to prick it many times with a toothpick so that the milk is better distributed.
The meringue I leave it to your choice too, French, Swiss or Italian, they are the same ingredients. The easiest to make is a French meringue, where you simply beat the whites
On the verge of snow and add the sugar in the form of snow until well integrated.
I told you that this cake is fully customizable just by adding a few things and big changes result, for example:
Add coconut milk in the 3 milks and grated coconut on top you will have a coconut version.
Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder in the mixture (taking out the same amount of flour) and add melted chocolate to the 3 milks you will have a divine version of chocolate.
Add 2 cds of cocoa (subtracting that amount of flour) and 1/2 tsp of red food coloring you will have a red velvet version.
Add cream cheese to the milks, and many pieces of oreo to the mixture you will get a cookies and cream version.
Add soluble coffee and whiskey to the milk, you will get a version of Irish coffee.
Add strawberries, cambur, pineapple, etc etc and make 3 fruit milks ...
And so ... To infinity ... Let your creativity fly.
I appreciate you for taking time to list the ingredients and preparation steps, I'll try it out.
