As the song goes for the U.S. official anthem for a newly-elected President, "Hail to the President! Hail to the Chief!" As for outgoing Pres. Donald Trump, he left a note for Biden, left the White House, one last moment with a 21-gun salute, left a message followed by former 1st Lady Melania Trump before leaving with his family boarding Marine One en route to Andrews Air Force Base, and decide not to show up in this yearly tradition. Donald Trump will be the 4th President preceded by Andrew Johnson (1869) who did not attend their successor's inauguration.

2 weeks ago (January 6), as followers of former Pres. Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol they break down security followed by a series of clash with the Capitol Police, break down doors, windows, ransack every office, loot items, and clash with anyone who stands in their way so they can disrupt the Electoral College votes to declare Biden as the 46th President of the United States. As the Capitol went on lockdown, while all officials were evacuated in a disclosed location. The following day (January 7), the sword of democracy stands strong as they declare Biden & Harris as the newly appointed leaders of America. Trump stayed to his word that he'll not attend Inauguration Day.

With the current situation as people will attend to witness this historic event, social distancing and wearing a face mask is required, while the Capitol is placed on heightened alert as the National Guard with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation were deployed to guard for potential protests or attacks 2 weeks after storming America's temple of democracy.

As tradition goes, they arrive at the Capitol greeted by members of the U.S. armed forces followed by guests, former Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama with other key figures Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, and former VP Mike Pence. Kamala Harris, the 1st African/Asian-American Female took her oath of office at 11:42 a.m. as the 49th Vice-President of the United States. Followed by Joe Biden, who took his oath of office at 11:48 a.m. Previously served as the 47th Vice-President with Obama, now the 46th President of the United States. With his speech, he addressed the country's challenges and shared a message of hope & healing. As the whole world watches, political key figures have shared their tweets and messages to the newly-elected leaders. Biden has already signed 3 of his 15 executive orders, while Harris takes the oath of office for new Senators.
