With the attack on the U.S. Capitol 2 weeks ago as they attempt to disrupt the Electoral College Votes proclaiming the newly-elected leaders of the United States, by orders of outgoing Pres. Donald Trump, as his followers breached security, brawl after brawl with the police, smashed the doors & windows as they ransack every office, loot items, and clash with anyone who stands in their way. Joe Biden addresses the nation telling the attack was unprecedented. The Capitol went under lockdown, and officials were evacuated in a disclosed location. Everyone shared their insights about the attack as they describe it as disgraceful, distressing, un-American, that violence is never the answer, and hopeful that the transition of power will be peaceful.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation issued mass arrests as they identify individuals who participated in the attack, also they received reports of armed protests planned for Washington and other 50 states. U.S. House of Representatives debated on what will be their next move for the outgoing president. After a long day of debate, it was concluded as 232 to 197 votes to impeach Trump for a second time. Donald Trump will be the 1st president to be impeached twice.
All 50 states, including Washington, D.C. are now on heightened alert as the National Guard was sent to guard and camp the Capitol Building with the aid of the Federal Bureau of Investigation as steel fences were built on all roads entering the Capitol and other 50 state capitols are on tight security.
