As I have mentioned previously in my article, the story is still developing since there are loopholes around Christine Dacera's case. Here are the following:
1. Christine's cause of death was a ruptured aortic aneurysm. One of her large arteries popped up in the process, and this is very rare for a 23-year-old. For the full definition of what an aneurysm is, click/tap here to view more.
2. The PNP claims there were signs of rape since they found traces of semen from Christine's genitalia, including the lacerations and contusions from her thighs & knees, which they filed charges against 12 individuals who were gays & bisexuals. As I've mentioned before, gay men don't tend to make love with a woman, and they would only do it with an attractive man. Bisexuals, on the other hand, can do it either with a straight man or woman, gay men, or even to a transgender.
3. CCTV footage shows Christina and other men present at the crime showing their movements before and after new year's eve. A possible violation of the community quarantine rules.
4. The case is closed even if the suspects remain at-large. It should be remained open. Previously 3 of the 12 suspects are in custody, but changes were made which I'll discuss later.
5. The 1st autopsy report was leaked around social media. It should remain confidential and it is not a public record.
Now, new developments are in motion about this case. As new CCTV footage was released showing Christine's final moments after her death. From the new footage acquired by our local media. On the 1st day of January, it shows around 3:00 am Christine was with a man wearing his cap backward, then around 4:00 am Christine was carried with another man, enjoying her moments. The Dacera Family requested a copy of the footage so they can re-watch the final moments of their beloved daughter.
3 other suspects were released after the decision was made by the Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati City. They found out there is insufficient evidence even if the cause of her death was a ruptured aortic aneurysm. See? They were rushing on the case and because of their assumptions, a preliminary investigation must be processed and be clarified if the victim was sexually abused or raped, or whoever killed her using additional evidence gathered at the scene of the crime. From my previous post, I said it should be done with a process, the suspects will be in full custody, the investigation team will find evidence if the crime was truly committed, and certain hearings will be held in court. Then, it should be closed once the suspects are found either guilty or not guilty.
The 2nd autopsy report is finished but remains confidential. As for the Dacera Family, they'll be going back to their home town of General Santos City to prepare for the funeral services of Christine Dacera. Her dream of taking her family around the world was shattered as she will lay rest because of this tragic accident. While, the hotel management of the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City hasn't shared their explanation yet since they were given a timeline for 3 days to explain.
