We all know that rice is one of the most used ingredients in the kitchen, and this is thanks to its versatility. That adapts to many culinary combinations, from sweets, drinks, to the main course of the meal. Today I present to you the possibility of being able to combine rice with an exotic but very nutritious ingredient high in protein, such as good crickets or grasshoppers, which allows you to create an interesting and unconventional recipe that can convince the most demanding palates. The necessary ingredients for a good plate of rice with cricket for four (04) people are: 1 cup of white rice 1 Creole chicken egg, beaten 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 1/2 cups mineral water 1 small white onion 3 tablespoons of garlic powder 100 ml of soy sauce 1 large cup farm-raised crickets 4 chicken sausages Green peas 200 gr. In addition to how exotic this dish may seem, the consumption of crickets can be beneficial for our health, they are easy to breed and collect, apart from the fact that they have been part of the human diet for a long time, and even today there are cultures American Indian and Asian where they have a central place in their gastronomic culture.

As for the recipe presented, I will indicate it in this way
1. The crickets must be previously passed through boiling water to prevent them from containing any bacteria, they must be crickets raised for human consumption, they must not be crickets caught from the patio.

2. We will put a frying pan with the hot oil, adding the beaten egg, the soy sauce, the garlic powder and the finely chopped onion, the 4 sausages chopped into small pieces, the 200 gr. Of peas and crickets.
When they are golden, we will add the mineral water, bringing it to a boil.
Add the rice, letting it cook for about 15 minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
