the Rich and Lazarus

There is an abundance of rich food on a daily basis and another beggar named Lazarus, who has a wound and loops at the rich man's door to gather crumbs from the rich man's table. The beggar died and was carried by the angel to Abraham. The rich man also died and suffered in Hades. The rich man looked up and saw Abraham with Lazarus. The rich man begged Abraham to tell Lazarus that he would dip the tip of his finger, to cool his tongue because he was suffering from fire. Abraham says that the rich passed away while he was alive and Lazarus was suffering. A ravine lies between the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man begged again to send Lazarus to their house because he had five brothers to warn them so they would not suffer like him. Abraham replied again, "They have the words of Moses and the prophets. If they had not heard them, they would not have believed that a dead man was raised."
