The juice diet is based on eating one of the healthy juices throughout the day and dispensing with all kinds of foods.
"Madam Net" asks nutritionist Abeer Abu Rjaili, from the Diet of the Town clinic, about the juice diet and its effectiveness in losing weight, and she answers first:
“We, as nutrition experts, do not prefer to follow the juice diet in the popular way, that is, by choosing a type of healthy juice and drinking it throughout the day for a week or more, without other nutrients, because it is harmful to health. However, this diet can be followed for three days only, provided that It is discontinued when tired.
Healthy Juices Diet
Specialist Abeer Abu Rjaili confirms that it is preferable to follow the juice diet with eating the three main meals, for example:
- For breakfast in the morning: You can eat boiled eggs with a slice of brown toast with juice.
For lunch: you can eat a piece of grilled meat, chicken or fish with a slice of brown toast and a plate of fresh greens salad with a little olive oil. Without a glass of juice.
For dinner: a cup of yoghurt or a portion of fruit, along with a glass of juice, can be sufficient.
That is, juice is drunk only in the morning and in the evening.

Specialist Abeer presents samples of natural juices that can be used in a juice diet, most notably:
Day 1: Celery and parsley juice.
Day two: tomato juice.
Third day: strawberry and cucumber juice.
Fourth day: red cabbage juice and blueberries.

Sixth day: beet juice.
Day 7: Carrot juice.

Specialist Abeer stresses some important conditions, when following the aforementioned diet juice, which are:
No added sugar.
Eat healthy meals.
