Jakarta is the largest city and the most populous city in Indonesia. Every year, people from various regions come to this city, because the city of Jakarta is the centre of government and the economic centre of the country, so, many people want to find work in this big city. One of them is Jenita. This 28-year-old woman comes from the city of Blitar, but she moved to Jakarta after graduating from high school.

At that time, Jenita went to Jakarta to study, but her family's economic situation was very difficult, so Jenita had to work part-time before leaving for college. After graduating from college, Jenita was accepted to work in a private bank as a teller. Her salary is enough to support herself and send money to her family in Blitar.

Once, Jenita and the bank manager went to a nightclub, they danced and drank liquor. After that, the two of them went to a karaoke place, but someone was waiting there. That person is Hana, she is the wife of the bank manager. Hana already knew her husband was having an affair with Jenita when Hana took her husband's smartphone, she read a WhatsApp message from Jenita to have fun at a karaoke place.

Jenita and her manager didn't realize that Hana was there until when they were in the karaoke room, Hana broke the door and saw her husband making out with Jenita. Immediately, Jenita was slapped and abused by Hana. The news spread and was known by all bank employees.

Since then, Jenita has been very embarrassed, after that she was fired by Hana because Hana is a director at the private bank. Jenita, who regretted having been left alone with her manager, was very sad, she was afraid that she would no longer be able to send money to her family in Blitar. Now Jenita is trying to get a job, luckily she is accepted to work in a supermarket. Currently, Jenita works as a cashier. Even though a cashier's salary is not too big, Jenita's salary is enough for her, and she still sends monthly payments to her family, but not as much as when Jenita worked at a bank.

One day, a novelist named Roni was shopping at the supermarket where Jenita worked. Roni was Jenita's high school friend when she was still living in the city of Blitar. When Roni wants to pay for his shopping, Jenita is surprised to see her old friend in front of her.

"Hey Roni, are you in Jakarta now?" Jenita said

Roni has poor memory, he can't remember who the cashier is. Then he pretended to know.

"Hey, how are you, I just played for a while in Jakarta," said Roni with a smile

Roni was still confused and asked in mind, who is this woman? How could she know me? That was the question in his mind. Jenita calculates the cost of Roni's groceries while asking about the condition of Roni and his family in Blitar. Roni answered it calmly with a smile as if Roni knew the woman in front of him.

After leaving the supermarket, Roni sat under a tree while drinking a soft drink that he bought at the supermarket earlier. Roni tried to remember the girl earlier. Finally, he remembered that the cashier was his friend from high school. Roni did not expect to meet Jenita again. When Roni wanted to go back to the supermarket, Jenita came over to Roni who was sitting under a tree, right in front of the supermarket.

"Hey Roni, since when did you move to Jakarta?" ask Jenita

Before Roni could answer, Jenita immediately cut Roni's words

"Let me guess, you want to find a job in Jakarta," said Jenita, "Don't worry, I'll help you find a job in this city," said Jenita again.

Roni just smiled, Jenita didn't know that Roni had become a successful and rich novelist. Because Roni only looks simple, wearing a t-shirt and sandals, so Jenita thinks that Roni is not a rich person.

"No Jen, I just got to Jakarta, but I'm not looking for a job here," said Roni

"Then what are you doing here?" ask Jenita

"When are you off work?" Roni asked back

"Tomorrow is my day off," replied Jenita

"Okay, tomorrow we'll meet at Garuda Hall," said Roni, "You'll know what I'm here for," said Roni again

"Okay," said Jenita

The next day arrived, Jenita went to the Garuda Hall to meet Roni, she saw that a seminar was being held at the Hall. Jenita entered the Hall, but she did not see Roni. She looked at the people sitting on the chairs one by one but didn't even look at Roni.

"If Roni is not a participant in the seminar, could it be that she only works partially for the Event Organizer, or also the cleaning service at this Hall?"

That's the question in Jenita's mind. She considers Roni just an ordinary worker because when he was still in school, Roni was a student who was not smart, and did not continue his education in college. When a speaker appeared at the seminar, Jenita was surprised that Roni was a speaker as well as a motivator at the seminar. Jenita did not expect her friend to be so successful like that.

When the seminar was over, Roni came out of the Hall, it turned out that Jenita was waiting for him outside. She wanted to chat a lot with Roni.

"Hi Jen, apparently you are here," said Roni, "I'm hungry, let's go eat,"

Roni ordered a taxi online and took Jenita to a fancy restaurant in Jakarta. Arriving at the restaurant, Roni told Jenita to order whatever food she wanted, this is the first time Jenita has entered a luxury restaurant in Jakarta.

"Sorry Ron, I've been trivial with you," said Jenita

"No problem, don't worry about it," said Roni

"I didn't think you would be a successful person," said Jenita

"As long as we don't give up on reaching our goals, success will surely come true," said Roni

"But you weren't good at school Ron," said Jenita

"Jen, please listen," said Roni, himself continuing his words

"Success doesn't come from being smart at school, I also live a hard life to get it, I once told you that I wanted to be a comic maker as well as a novelist, but that wasn't easy to achieve, I also worked in a textile factory, but I still trying to write novels and making comics when I'm not working, I didn't give up on achieving my goals, I'm like this now because I worked hard," said Roni.

"Yes Ron, I misjudged you," said Jenita

"Next time, don't judge someone from the outside," said Roni

"Okay Ron," said Jenita

They continued to eat at the restaurant while talking about their teenage years. Since then, Jenita no longer judges someone by their appearance.
