A regret (fiction short story)

After school, Tono went straight to his room and turned on the computer, he opened his favourite game. Tono likes playing games on the computer, in fact, he rarely does his homework due to playing games a lot. From outside Tono's room, his mother shouted.

"Tono, have lunch first, it's already 1:00 pm" said his mother

Tono didn't pay attention to his mother's words, he continued to play the game regardless of his mother. Finally, his mother broke down the door of Tono's room and immediately scolded his son. Tono was annoyed because he felt disturbed while playing games, he went out of the house to an internet cafe near his house. At the Internet Cafe, he continued playing games. While playing a game in a computer Internet Cafe, Tono's friend, Izul, came to Tono.

"Why are you playing here,?" Izul asked, "Don't you have a computer at home to play this game?" ask Izul again

"My mother gets angry when I play in the room," replied Tono

"Your mother is angry because she cares about you," said Izul advising Tono

"Never mind, don't bother me playing games," said Tono

"You should be grateful that you still have a mother who loves you," said Izul

"I don't care," replied Tono

Tono's stubborn attitude made Izul leave that place. Izul is Tono's friend who is an orphan. Since childhood, Izul was cared for by his uncle and aunt, but Izul was treated inappropriately, sometimes told to work, sometimes ordered to do dangerous things by his uncle. Therefore, Izul advised his friend to be obedient to his parents.

After playing games at the internet cafe, Tono felt hungry, he went home to eat, when he saw the food menu on the dining table, Tono got angry with his mother.

"Mother, why don't you cook my favourite side dish," said Tono while yelling at his mother

"I've eaten, I think you won't be eating at home," said his mother

Tono was very angry and slammed his plate on the table. He left the house again and wanted to buy food outside, but he didn't have enough money, because he had already paid for the internet cafe. Tono who is very naughty returns home, he intends to steal his mother's money.

When he got home, he crept slowly into his mother's room. At that time his mother was in the kitchen cleaning the broken plate that Tono had slammed down earlier. Suddenly Tono heard a loud slamming sound on the table. Tono was curious about the sound, he finally went to the source of the sound and he was surprised to see what happened.

"Mother..!!"

Tony shouted. It turned out that his mother slipped on the floor while cleaning the dishes and fell on the dining table until the table finally fell on Tono's mother. At that time her mother was unconscious, she cried and called an ambulance. When her mother was taken to the hospital, the roads were so congested that it was difficult for an ambulance to get to the hospital quickly.

"Mom, I'm sorry, hold on mom," Tono said while crying in the ambulance

Finally, the ambulance arrived at the hospital, but his mother's life was not saved. Tono's mother died from blood loss. Tono cried and was very sorry for not being obedient to his mother. Tono also realized that what his friend Izul said was very true, he should be grateful that he still has a mother who loves him. Now Tono has the same fate as Izul, no longer having parents and being cared for by his uncle and aunt.

Fortunately, his uncle and aunt took very good care of Tono. He was considered his son by his uncle, since then, Tono was no longer a naughty child, he followed what was advised by his uncle and aunt. From that moment on, Tono began to study hard and do his homework, he only played games on his days off. Tono has learned a valuable lesson from his experience.

Therefore, love your mother before you lose her because you will regret when your mother has left you forever.
