Introducing Me (Sharing My Very First Article)

Hello everyone, good evening and kumusta? (How are you) It's only been almost a day since I registered an account here at read.cash To be honest, I was kinda excited, confused and hoping that this community was fair enough to reward individuals who put their hearts out on their work.

As an introduction; I am Rachelle Ignacio,  living in the Philippines for over 32 years. Well I guess it obvious what my age is lol. I am an amateur writer who just love ramdom things. I love variety as for me it doesn't have exemptions. You may see it on my bio and I love to do and try many things in life.

I will categorize myself by the following:

ARTS & CRAFTS

I'm self taught artist which I focused myself on portrait drawings. Drawing anime was my first love during my childhood years, I've been a fan of an anime series title Fushigi Yuugi.

As the matter of fact the main character is Miaka and she's been my favorite one to draw ever since. Here are some of previous drawing with date on it:

Last 2020 I've been interested to draw a portrait. This type of art style was new to me and I am not sure if I can make it because portrait drawing needed to look realistic. It's a big transtion for me on switching this kind of method.

Thanks to the video tutorials which I watch online so that I can have an idea on how to draw an eye, nose, eyebrow, lips, hair and especially the most critical part for me I guess is how to achieve and accurate or close enough look to my reference.

In addition to that the shading and blending of the skin tone is very important. A good quality pencils and papers for drawing are needed to be consider. Here is my latest drawing.

RECIPES/COOKING/BAKING

This is one of my interest in life. I love to cook and bake different recipes that is budge friendly. Most of the recipes that I tried on was my first time. I also do my own recipes which gives me an idea to share and blog it.

I am huge fan of fermented foods after I learned that it is very good source of lactac acid. So stay tune because I will be sharing what I learned in the past few months about the health benefits of fermenting foods.

Aside from that I loved to do lots of do-it-yourself stuff especially on foods so stay tune.

LIFE

I'm a type of person who loves to think deep, and easily be pleased on simple things in life. I think I'm blessed to be who I am in that way. Sometimes I think life is unfair in many ways but being able to think that life is a matter of choices and decisions in life makes a difference.

I will share my own life struggles, dreams and many more. I am hoping I could have a legit friends whose in this platform also.

TRAVEL

This is one of my biggest desire to write a an article too. Philippines is well known to it's several tourist destination which attracts not only our fellow countrymen but also foreign travellers. This is will be one of the stuff that you'll expect me to share.

PET

I am an certified pet lover. I've been in deep heartache when I lost my beloved dog last May 1, 2020. He's been with me for 5 years but it was a short period of years since I am expecting him to be with me for the next 10 years.

As of now I only had a male cat name Sugar. He's become a great help to move on and accept the fact the Chuchu (my dog) left us. This cat actually was a good sleeper lol :)

URBAN GARDENING

This is a new addition on my newest endeavor this year. We just started 2 weeks ago with this kind of interest. Way back on lockdown due to Covid-19, I really appreciate planting my own vegetables.

That's why I was able to plant some common leafy vegetables during summer which is very hard to manage producing a healhy vegetables at home. But this method that I'll try was my first time to try so it is a test if this will turn out good in the next few weeks.

MUSIC

Above all mention, this is my first love. I used to sing in school and church. It's been my passion since I was a kid and sometimes, I missed to do some covers which I did awhile ago but it didn't went well.

Singing was a part of my unaccomplised dreams. So I think in my own little way, maybe I can share my passion in singing in this platform and meet other musicians in this community.

In conclusion, I am praying and expecting positive vibes as I enter a new chapter in blogging here at read.cash
