This is a hotly debated topic. When you browse the internet to search, the majority of what you can read, will indeed tells that money can make one's happy.
Is that really so? The answer always rely in yourself, you are the only one who can really tell if money brings happiness to you. Maybe, you have zero money today, but your happy because you have family and friends who are very please to support you. Maybe your a boss, whose work ethics are admired by your peers but you are never happy because you lack the time to build a lasting relationship with others.
Another factor we must never forget is time. We perceived that there's always time, there's always tomorrow until it's too late. The fact that our time in this life is limited, we must live life to the fullest, and on the things that really matters most, not only money but also for our true happiness.
And there's is money. With money you can buy anything. Is that makes you happy? Yes of course! but only if you use money right. If you buy stuffs that you can't afford this become a burden for you to commit your time to work hard for money just to maintain the lifestyle in which you think makes you happy and also not taking care of your health because of time restrain.
When a person already have the most basic necessities in life, happiness in relationship become a priority . One will find it, then start a family. If you can truly provide for your family and spend time with them with most of your time, happiness will always be in your home.
Another factor is freedom. If you have the freedom to do whatever you want, you are happy! Look at the children, in their eyes you can see happiness that you can't explain. That's the freedom they have, to do whatever they want without thinking and second guess.
Overall here's some thoughts , you can think of when equating money to happiness.
Use money wisely. Build wealth as fast as you could in order to have the time and health to share happiness with your love ones in the future
Don't go on debt, when you think you will trade your time and freedom for money. If you think you can afford something, you are not.
You can delay gratification today, in order to have the freedom to use money whatever you want for tomorrow.
Take care of your health. Exercise and eat real foods. You can be a millionaire tomorrow but be sure you still have the vibrancy and health to enjoy your hardworks.
When you have freedom, your happy. Free to go anywhere, free to wakeup 10 o'clock in the morning, free to buy the brand new car without thinking, free to play and watch your kids grow. Freedom is happiness.
Money is a tool, it can imprisons you or use it for your choice of happiness. So will money makes you happy? Yes! but only if you use it wisely.
