Most common types of batteries used in household appliances

AA and AAA batteries are two most commonly used batteries. They differ in their physical dimensions. AA batteries are longer than AAA batteries. The two batteries also vary in many other aspects such as power, capacity, and price.

Batteries are widely used in our daily life. You can easily find equipment that runs on batteries such as tv remotes, children's toys, wall clocks, and many other appliances that run on batteries.

Batteries can be classified into many types and categories, depending on capacity, building material and dimensions. Among various types of batteries, AA and AAA are types that we can easily find in our daily activities. These two types of batteries differ in size. However, they usually provide an equivalent amount of charge, which is 1.5 volts.

So, one of the most noticeable differences between these two types of batteries is their size. AAA batteries are smaller than AA batteries. Due to their size, AAA batteries also carry a smaller amount of material/charge compared to AA batteries.

As for other differences, usually for use of this type of battery, because the AA type battery has larger dimensions, it is usually used for electronic devices that require more power. For example wireless mouse, wireless mic, children's toys and most often is a wall clock.

While AAA type battery has a smaller dimension, so it is used for electronic equipment that does not require a large amount of power. For example a TV remote or an old MP3 player.

Maybe now this type of battery, it is starting to be rarely used because now there are types of rechargeable batteries circulating, and usually electronic equipment that requires a small amount of power already has a built-in battery from manufacturer.

However, in my area there are still very many users of this type of battery, maybe because price is still cheap and easy to find at the nearest store. How about in your area? Are there still users of this type of battery?
