According to Wikipedia, Moringa or merunggai is a type of plant from Moringaceae tribe. Moringa is a plant that can grow quickly, live long, flower all year round, and withstand extreme heat conditions.
This plant is native to tropical and subtropical regions of South Asia. This plant is commonly used for food and medicine in Indonesia. Moringa seeds are also used as a small-scale water purifier.
Moringa is dubbed the 'tree of life'. This nickname is because Moringa leaves are believed to have a high content of vitamin C, calcium, beta carotene and potassium which work effectively as a source of natural anti-oxidants. Because of the high content of nutrients in leaves. Moringa leaves contain a lot of protein. The part of plant that has high nutrition is in leaf.
