Actually there are many types of cardamom, but I will only share about cardamom from Java, because my brother grows this type of cardamom. In mountainous area where my brother lives, many grow cardamom because it is very easy to care for and this type of Javanese cardamom has a high selling price.
Cardamom plants are almost similar to ginger, but produce fruit near the roots, so the roots must always be clean of weeds in order to produce a lot of fruit. Javanese cardamom has a physical form with a strong stem, and can last for years with its aromatic aroma in various parts. This tree can grow up to two meters. The rhizome grows creeping into the ground, has a slightly rounded size, with a slightly yellowish white color.
