Have you guys heard that there will be a total banning of cigarettes to some countries? They believe that the possibilities of increasing numbers of covid infected is because of e-cigarettes , second hand smoke or aerosol exposure. what is your opinion about this? Are you in favor of cigarettes total banning in your country?

I'm not a smoker but was raised with a smokers... I was actually excited when I read about that news 😃. Total ban of cigarettes maybe it's good if they will put it as experiment aside from social distancing wearing face mask face shield etc.

I'm absolutely in favor of cigarettes being totally banned. But it also means less tax paid to the government I think.
That for sure. I doubt cigarettes will be banned. Not only the government but the pharmaceutical industry will have a hard time too. They love to sell their meds.
E-cigarettes are not cigarettes and with us, they might be banned for a different reason. It has nothing to do with COVID-19 but because it's even worse for your health as tobacco is. Cancer is the reason. To be honest, I don't care, neither care if smokers get ill. This is the risk they take, their own free choice and if so they need to pay for their illnesses themselves, no donor organs for addicts and if they put others at risk they should pay for that too.
Too many nonsmokers are victims of smokers who get away with it while smokers harm children, partners, colleagues, and the environment. A society should not carry those costs.
I'm in favour but it's my opinion, Others opinion matters too
