The Castle of Bragança is located within the walls of the citadel of Bragança.
This castle occupies an advantageous position that the inhabitants of Celtic Brigancia already took advantage of, the Romans who submitted them and renamed the city as Juliobriga, the Visigoths, the Muslims who conquered it and the Christians who saw it again.
The Tower of Homage, besides offering a wonderful panoramic view over the city with its 33 meters high, it houses the interesting Military Museum of Bragança.
Nowadays classified as a National Monument, it has benefited from consolidation and restoration works, as well as the liberation of the walls of buildings attached to them.
