What is a hate crime?
How much humanity has changed. Is there no crime, hatred, grudge in the past?
Of course there was. Why has everything come to light now? Why do people go mad with anger? How could all people be this bad?
The limits of tolerance are gone. His eyes see nothing.
It is a pity that the efforts to condemn, prevent and combat hate crimes, which we frequently encounter on social platforms lately, are related to hate crimes and that these crimes are increasing and becoming unmanageable.
Hate crime is defined as: crimes, often violent, committed for reasons that may create prejudice against a person or group, such as race, language, religion, gender and sexual orientation. If this crime is not committed once and is continuous, the perpetrators are called a hate group. Laws designed to prevent these crimes and punish those who commit crimes are called hate laws.
I wish there was neither such a definition nor the need for such a law. This is a very deep subject, it has a thousand and one dimensions, its factors and variables are plentiful, it takes effort to understand.
But it is very easy to understand that it is wrong to hate a person and target him. You don't need to understand politics, law or sociology. Look like this; If you accept someone as the other, you are the other for that person. Let's kill each other then! It's very painful. Because that's exactly what happened. Violence is not less or more, it is all one. It is a great mistake to consider anyone as 'other', to exclude them, to believe that they have less rights. And we, the human being, the most adept creature in combining his mind and heart, how can we not see this!
Our personal thoughts are as different as our DNA, even those within the same formations are separate from each other. We don't have to agree, approve or understand, but we have to be very careful with what we say. What a great mistake it is to see someone as "who deserves to be destroyed" because of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and to point out others.
Is this how we lost our objectivity, how much did we lose our objectivity, it's sad... I am one of those who believe that developed societies can be made up of people who protect each other's rights beyond respecting each other's rights. In a society where the snake that does not touch you will live for a thousand years, that snake will bite you one day, here is that example.
Especially if the snake is on the side you dislike and unfortunately hate, do you motivate the snake so that it can release its venom? Let me ask you, where is our humanity, beliefs, culture? Well, I'm hopeful. Mankind will wake up to itself.
You can try to keep your children and relatives on the path you believe in with the right suggestions, but you cannot target individuals or groups by spreading hate in public places and social platforms, and you cannot try to harm them. First of all, this is a matter of conscience. It's a humanitarian issue.
Gaining empathy should be the primary goal of this society, and indeed of all societies. It is very easy to prepare the ground for crimes called hate crimes, to be partners and to be the perpetrators. But it is not easier than to live and let live humanely. A little tolerance, a little empathy, a little human love, that's all.
You can find the feeling to achieve this in your religious teaching, family, ideology and nature, as long as you want to find it. Because we must leave a world where, among many things, our children are safe and safe no matter what they are, it is our duty.
You are human and am human, you are eyes and ears and two legs I have the same thing as a human and you hate me just because am coming from a different race or I have a different skin colour, I think you can only hate animals because there are things they can do but we humans can't and there are things we can do that they can't so then why hate your fellow human.
