We haven't been to the park for veryyyyy longgggg time. We used to go once a week to a park nearby. Today, we got to go to another park further from us but really worth the going. Very big park with beautiful lake. And many spots for people to play, cycle, scooting, roller-skate, inline skate, skateboard, playground, bubbles, flying kites. Etc. The eldest son enjoyed playing frisbee with his uncle and friends. The youngest son wanted to see the lake so we got to walk awhile…

Happy blessed Sunday to everyone. After having refreshing moments at church, we had lunch at one of our favourite spots - MAMAK. Called the Deens. I think I had frequent this place 'thousand times' in my life because my husband loves mamak and so am I. Our two boys love mamak too. I had this sumptuous meal and not sure why everytime I told the man to give me lesser, he scooped more. I told him him less rice. He scooped less rice for me and then he put back the rice back and…
I spotted a huge durian tree right outside my apartment. I guess the tree belongs to one of the residents. And soooo many tiny weeny durians. Oh gosh, I have never seen baby durians before. And these are so adorable. I am looking forward to see them grow and then to look forward to some generosity to share those durians with us. No harm wishing... 😁 Good things must share. Who love eating durians? 🙋♀️
Kitchen disaster again! The pipe above us got clogged and then bursted, hence all of their food waterfall down to our basin. Such a yucky scene. Their rice, gravy, flaky stuffs and even fish bones were everywhere. This was the third time happening. Anyway, I won't show you the debris. I already stressed out cleaning them. Super oily and smelly. One pot soup is the easiest to cook to ease my burden. This is radish tofu skin soup with pork. I added in dried fig and goji…
Good day to dear Noisers. 🎊 We had some 'siew pao' and 'egg tarts' for breakfast, something out of the norm. The 'siew pao' had really yummy BBQ meat as fillings with some peas, and the egg tarts of course were super delicious. Usually, we had bread and biscuits. We bought the 'siew pao' and 'egg tarts' at our favourite less crowded spacious mall. Thank God for mother-in-law who came to take care of the boys while my husband and I went out. Thank God for food on the table…
I had been noticing this advertisement on social media for sometime, and never had I wanted it until yesterday. Perhaps, the weather was too hot, I was literally melting when I saw the advertisement. All I wanted was to be MERRY😍. Then, my fingers automatically went to the website to order. Three pints and I would be entitles free delivery. I ordered those fruits-based as they are healthier. And made from 100% natural ingredients. Got myself and hubs the pink guava and…
When I didn't feel like eating rice or noodles, I would go for 'Yong Tau Foo' at this place because their tofu is always fresh and the fillings of minced pork is very tasty and yummy. Today, I ordered stuffed soft tofus, stuffed brinjals, stuffed ladies fingers, stuffed bitter gourd and stuffed tofu-pok. All in pairs to be shared with the husband. Really love how fresh the food is, and the chilli dipping sauce is very appetising too. The simple seaweed soup is a good…
Siu Mai all the way from Sarawak!!! My parents came from Sarawak to Kuala Lumpur and packed this goodies frozen in their luggage. These were made by my mum's friend. Homemade and healthy, she used good quality meat too. All I needed to do was to take out from freezer and steamed for 15 minutes. Super tasty and delicious. We love to eat this with ketchup or chilli sauce. Bon appetite to everyone who is eating now. Omnomnom!
What do you have for lunch today? I am having Hainanese Chicken Rice with bean sprouts from a shop called Hometown Hainan Coffee. The rice is so fragrant from the chicken broth and the Hainanese chicken is tender and juicy. I love the simple gravy made of soy sauce and sesame oil, paired well with the chicken and the vegetables underneath. Even the cabbage soup is delicious. When you eat Hainanese chicken rice, you must eat with the ginger paste and chilli sauce. Every…
Spotted a bushes of tiny cute plants when we were walking at our ground floor apartment. One thing we love about our apartment is it is only 11th floor, and super low density, and the surrounding is full of greens, plus quite a spacious lobby area for playing or scooting. Recently, we spent most evening at ground floor to walk/scoot, it was a great feeling to see people doing activities. I love to walk and look around for plants. =) it reminds to bloom at where you are…
Finally, we got to try famous Korean corndogs here, called Chunz. I must say eventhough I am not a fan of deep fried stuff, these are really delicious, but best to eat right after so that you can taste the crispiness and crunchiness, while inside is full of chewiness due to the mozza cheese. We tried the basic ones without any toppings and sauces because we want to taste the original. Next round, we will buy again with toppings and sauces. Anyone here love Korean corn dogs?
A must-have breakfast in our country. Nasi lemak bungkus, direct translation will be rice fat/oil wrapped. Lol... It is actually rice cooked with coconut milk with some screwpine leaves, giving the rice that super aromatic fragrant smell and taste, hence we called it nasi lemak, the fat from coconut milk. It paired so well with chilli sauce/paste, fried anchovies, roasted peanuts, slices of cucumber and hard-boiled egg. And that's it, we have a hearty meal. Just open up the…
To find this snack is like digging gold for me but yesterday we saw it and we bought it. This is called 'keropok emping' or emping chips, a popular Indonesia chips if I am not mistaken. They are made from melinjo seeds. The seeds need to be boiled till soft, then the outer skin layers be peeled off to reveal the nuts. The nuts are the one being deep fried to make this bitter-like chips snack. I am not a snack eater actually, do not like the usual chips but I love emping…
This boy always love to ransack my clothes and try on the adults clothes, either mine or my husband's. Whatever attire he had tried before, you named it, I am sure he had tried before. Always our cheeky and bubbly and joyful. This one, he said he looks like butterfly or moth. True enough this is the butterfly type of outer clothes. Just enjoy your life, baby. ❤️
After so many years of talking about it, we finally got to go out to hang out together. Two of us are stay-at-home moms and another one is our precious Pastor who has been a pillar of advice and guidance to us since youth. She is a woman of prayer and faith. I love her so much for her servanthood heart and always looks after us when we were younger. Today, we got to meet up to eat at a restaurant which serves dishes from China because we love mala mala stuff. The food was so…
I am still drooling while thinking about my lunch with two lovely ladies I mentioned in my previous post below. Let me show you what am I still drooling over. ChangQing Grilled Fish!!!! My Pastor told me ChangQing is a place at China and is popular with ChangQing dish. Usually, it is cooked with dried chillies as well as Sichuan peppercorns. I love anything mala, and when the staff at the Chinese restaurant introduced us this, we nodded our heads 100%. Three of us love the…
Continue my 'Let's Go Eat Together' with my friends from the post here (https://noise.cash/post/174n5220). After mouth-watering lunch, our Pastor said she wanted to treat us desserts, but we also felt like drinking, so we went to a shop called Hometown Hainanese Coffee for some coffee, tea, rose longan and cucumber juice. We also ordered a 'gula melaka' crepe. The crepe was super tasty, and the drinks were all nice. A very cozy environment for chit chat and hang out. Total,…
I was craving for ramen again so we decided to have lunch at Ippudo. I picked this one and it was so smoky and aromatic. It is called Ippudo Kuro Special. I super love its thick, cheery noodle. It pairs well with the smoky peppery tonkatsu soup. The soup is special because it also contains spicy blended miso paste and fragrant garlic oil, I finished the whole bowl of soup because it is too yummy. Some other ingredients in it are salted soft-boiled egg, BBQ pork belly,…
Before physical school going to start, we were glad that we gotto sneak in a staycation with the boys at our favourite hotel. This hotel had passed by QC ever since I checked in here with my husband last time (since I have a child with health challenge, I needed to find a hotel which great cleanliness points and SOP passed my standard). Although, my youngest son wasn't feeling well because his intestines movement got 'hijacked' again with some 'traffic jam', we still had…
Whenever we are at Sunway Velocity Mall, KL, we will surely visit Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh. Super love their BKT, the second best to us. The first one is at the road side. Pao Xiang restaurant's BKT is impressive too. I guess they really cook the meat for hours until the fragrance of the spices seeps into every fibre of the meat's muscles. The meat become soft. Here, we ordered a bowl of pork belly, a bowl of leaner rib part, pork internals, yao-char-kuey and tofupok, of course…
After a good time at a park, we went to Old Town Coffee for dinner. It's been awhile. I used to frequent Old Town as often as daily because it was my spot with my eldest for learning the spellings. Those time when he had alot of spelling test during kindergarten. Back to my dinner. I had a bowl of yummy curry noodles. I opted for meehoon (rice vermicelli) + yellow noodle. I love curry noodles from Old Town. But then again, my son said that I love any food, LOL, that I seldom…
Today's visitation to aunt's place welcomed me with these sumptuous hearty meal. She cooked stir fry slices of lean pork with purple cabbage, traffic light vegetables with mushroom soup, and baked chicken topped with some mushroom soup too. As usual, I would eat till very full and packed the food back for the rest of the family. The kids couldn't go today because the youngest son still can't eat yet. Have a great weekend, you guys. 🎉
It's been awhile I went to Burger King for a meal. We went yesterday as a gang, totally changed the whole atmosphere to merry noisy. Haha. I had salmon burger because I love salmon. It wasn't disappointing at all. You can the burger has two patties of the salmon, making it so think, and I could hardly bite it. Lol... Anyway, this Burger King outlet has a nice ambience and spacious. My first time here and there will be more since the hubs and boys also love BK.
Tired body always called for soupy stuff. Are you the same too? Here, I had soup noodle with preserved vegetables and pork chop at Kim Gary. Perhaps the salty sourish soup helped to wake up the tired system, it was yummy. I loved they used soy noodles too, and it came with spicy preserved vegetables bits at the side and some slices of fish stuff for munching. Overall, I love this bowl of soup noodle except the pork chop was abit hard to bite. The soup was especially…
It's been awhile I visited this Chinese Muslim restaurant nearby my church. After viewing cars at showroom nearby (because my car is getting old after 15 years old of serving me and the air conditioning kept having problems for many years), we decided to have lunch here. We ordered this dish called oil meat noodle. The noodle is handmade pulled noodle, really nicely done, great texture and very nice to chew. The condiments for the noodle is this plate of beef slices with…
After 5 hours plus of exploring this spacious theme park at Berjaya Times Square, all of us were super hungry and thirsty despite the fact that we had our snacks and drinks in the theme park. Time for the kids to get some refreshing drink. We ordered two types of dessert at nearby restaurant. One is Fruity Ai Yu Jelly Ice. Another one is Mango Pomelo Sago Ice. Each for one family. We love it. The kids totally slurping the ice drink. We had great fun at theme park. We had…
Our lovely aunt cooked us sumptuous lunch again. She always had a lot of energy and passion when it comes to cooking for us. We were blessed with fishball veggie glass noodle soup, steamed minced pork, stir fry ladies finger with prawns and fried fish nuggets and fried chicken nuggets which she cooked from scratch using fresh chickens and fresh fish. She said hope she will have long life to cook for us for many years. Mind you, she is super fit and healthy for her age. I…
