What do you have for lunch today? I am having Hainanese Chicken Rice with bean sprouts from a shop called Hometown Hainan Coffee. The rice is so fragrant from the chicken broth and the Hainanese chicken is tender and juicy. I love the simple gravy made of soy sauce and sesame oil, paired well with the chicken and the vegetables underneath. Even the cabbage soup is delicious. When you eat Hainanese chicken rice, you must eat with the ginger paste and chilli sauce. Every mouthful is satisfying. Yummy! =)
