Of all the interesting, educative topics we have in this world, why should i choose laziness to make an article about it? Someone will ask.
It's not everytime we talk about things that will interest us or put a smile on our faces, but we need to also look at those things that are affecting our growth, successes in life too. I will focus on laziness today, laziness has really eaten deep into the lives of 75% of the people living in my locality. So many good life changing opportunities have pass a lot of persons by just because of laziness.
It could be from past failures that we had that brings the lack of appetite which is laziness to do the things that is best for us, we have lost total hope on ourselves that nothing good can ever happen or change the situation we are in making us to slack and not pursue our dreams. The worst thing we would ever do to ourselves is allowing laziness to rule over us. People who use to believe in us will loose hope that we can never be serious with our lives.
Laziness is never a good kind of habit to keep. It gradually kills our self-confidence, it makes us not to see the best in us. So today i will discuss some of the things we need to do to free ourselves from the shackles of laziness. As we look into each of the tips hope you also put them into practice for a better result.

You can't be busy all day without rest and expect to be active as when you wake up in the morning. Give your body and mind enough rest to get back its full strength, without this you won't be able to function the way you suppose to as laziness will set in.
Discipline yourself
Laziness will always settle in a place where seriousness and lack of self-discipline is lacking. Most people are so good in making plans on how they will run the day, week, or even month. But they fail to stick to the plan, maybe following it for the first 2-3 days then the rest is story. The commitment in sticking to the plan is zero. We are all human and we have our own weaknesses, but with self-discipline we will be able to stick to our plans no matter what. Without self-discipline, procrastination will set in. You will continue to postpone whatever you wanted to do untill you see no need in doing them anymore.
Say positive things to yourself always
Always speaking positive things to yourself can help push out every form of laziness in you that will hinder you from being productive. You need to encourage yourself that no matter how small the things you have, you can always make a difference with it. Positive words will always keep you motivated and active to do the things that means a lot to you. Opportunities will never pass you if you stay active and not slack. Don't let laziness kill the productive you, but use positive words to build yourself into a more productive person.
Find something interesting and start doing it
Doing things that interest you will help get you out of that lazy mood each time you stay at one place. Doing things like singing, taking a walk down the street, or even trying out new recipes can go a long way in increasing your productive mood. You gradually dlhave the will to complete every goal that was before you. Doing the things that interest you will also bring excitement, you will always stay active when you are excited. If you are not excited in any way, you will end up being lazy and not productive in any way.
Learn everyday
One of the best way to send laziness parking out of our life is by learning me things everyday. If we say we know all, then that enthusiasm in us will die gradually. Keep on learning even outside your field of study, ifyou do so you will be well filled with different ideas which will always make you stay active.
Lastly, to help yourself kill laziness, set targets for yourself. Start from small then the bigger one.
Those are really wonderful tips and I find it hard to apply it in my daily life. Getting enough rest alone is impossible for me.
