This is an objective piece,devoid of any political undertone.Prior to this moment,it was normal to shy away from topics that have any political inclination.However, as man is a political being,it has become expedient to comment on some issues,albeit with diplomacy. These are trying times. The year 2020 has been challenging globally as well as in the local terrain. What is sure is that things will get better in the long run but the road may be sloppy(The late Tai Solarin said it all...."May your road be rough!). Now to the matter at hand....a lot of information.... misinformation...inciting comments from those that should know better...have been making the rounds...nothing circulates faster than negative news...selfish motives that impact over 160 million people negatively. The way forward...there is an urgent need to place a premium on security and unity. When the nation's security structures are being burnt to the ground,there is cause for concern. When ammunition is being stolen,one should be bothered. If you consider the hands that it will fall into that gives no comfort. The time to be your brother's keeper in now key! No ethic jingoism or religious debates...constructive criticism as well as the willingness to contribute to nation building is critical. You may have noticed my touching on issues without stoking the embers of hatred of bitterness...this does not mean that citizens do not have the right to freedom of expression..it should however be channelled towards positive results.... I read an article somewhere where the writer indicated that people are complaining of corruption...simply because they are not benefiting from it...could this be called the fallacy of generalization? Thoughts anyone?...We will meet again...
