The name Matka means uterus and represents a pearl, the cradle of nature. The Matka Canyon is known for quite a few churches and monasteries, but above all it offers many opportunities to explore beautiful nature, hiking, climbing, kayaking, walking or just spending free time by the lake at many resting points along the entire canyon.
