Reggae Barometer | Bob Marley's Justification for Idealism
Greetings to all of you! whatever you face in this world, face it with a strong soul because it is human nature to feel sadness and happiness. When justice is impartial then make prayer a bringer of peace.
I may wish you were like me but maybe you are not like me who always makes music a drop of life like rain that wets the earth removes dust from the streets and plants bloom brightly, that's the track record of my life which is always filled with music when sad, hurt, Anxiety, regrets and failures come suddenly, music becomes a sense of self-recovery to make life better than before. Listening to music has been a part of my life since childhood, even though I don't have a good voice talent, but singing in the bathroom is very entertaining, expressing my heart with a song makes my hair stand on end. Of the various music genres that exist in the world music community, the reggae music genre is the main choice that is included in the list that is very comfortable for my ears when the strains of music echo in my ears.
The reggae music genre was popularized by Bob Marley, a world music legend who was born in Jamaica. As a pioneer of reggae music, Bob Marley made Jamaica an early barometer of the development of the reggae music genre around the world. His role in bringing changes to the music industry in the era of the 60-70s was not an easy matter because of the pros and cons of fellow musicians who almost drowned his career in the music industry. The character of Bob Marley who is famous for his reggae music is able to hypnotize world music lovers when his song arrangements are played on various radio and television shows. The nobility fans grew from various regions and internationally began to follow the character and lifestyle of a Bob Marley, hairstyles, clothes, pants and hats became Bob Marley's signature camouflage to fans and other musicians. It's no secret, until today's generation there are still many musicians who continue the image of a Bob Marley. Pop and rock songs were transformed into reggae music genres, recovering songs from the world's top musicians and amateurs have turned metal, rock, and pop music arrangements into reggae-style drum music.
The development of reggae music which continues to boom with the number of minorities and the majority in belief starting to follow the musical genre from Jamaica turned out to be an opportunity for Bob Marley to spread Rasta or the beliefs they profess, Rastafari is a belief that has an understanding of biblical sources or interpretations of studies in content bible with the main element in religion is monotheism or one God.
Perhaps the spread of this religion is not very significant until now because the predecessor or spread of the religion stopped when Bob Marley died at the age of 36 years. Have you heard of today's Rasta faith? may sound very foreign to the public, including myself. If the current generation can say it is a new belief, even though this belief has been formed since the legend of reggae music emerged to the surface of world music.
Bob Marley's justification for spreading the Rasta belief is a strong form of support for his popularity when publishing new music genres in the music world. The assimilation of Rasta beliefs may not be in accordance with the understanding for some people because the beliefs that are absorbed from other belief sources are not in accordance with environmental conditions. The substance of the rasta belief may sound interesting when the major pioneers discuss it directly because the original source has strong reasons to spread this belief so that the interpretation of the rasta belief can be implemented in a concrete way. A person's influence on the public can actually bring about changes in society regarding the mindset, character, decisions, beliefs, opinions and choices in various aspects of social life, but we must remember that our lives depend on how we perceive what is right and wrong.
From this view it can be assumed that when a person achieves his popularity and has many fans and followers, it turns out to be the ideological foundation for spreading idealism.
