An amazing story happened to me once in Africa. A woman came to me and asked me to bless her and her child. I did not understand her at first, thinking that she was asking for money, so I handed her money. But she refused the money and asked for a blessing. Today Russia celebrates Victory Day. In 1945 the USSR defeated Germany. As always, the war was unleashed by politicians and the civilian population suffered casualties. The picture shows two of my grandfathers who died in that war. The city of my childhood, Zarinsk, was named after a beautiful dawn on the eastern outskirts of the city. Around the city of my childhood birch forest and you can walk to the outskirts of the city in 20 minutes. Today is my musician friend's 50th birthday. His name is Valentin "Jack" Sohorev (Bear Shatun Band). To think how fast time flies. In 2009 he came to Novosibirsk from Moscow, I gave him a concert. My childhood was spent in this yard. This rocket has been standing for about half a century. When I was about five years old, I used to climb into it and fly off into space. Once in the Vietnamese city of Vinh, I smoked Vietnamese tobacco. In this city in the evenings people would gather around beer stalls or small cafes, drink beer and smoke this tobacco. When I inhaled from this pipe it was like a light knockout and stars flew before my eyes. I don't recommend repeating this experiment if you find yourself in Vietnam. One of my favorite places in the world is Gokarna, Karnataka, not far from the state of Goa, where I go by scooter to spend a few days in complete peace from the noisy Goan parties with Goa trance music. Gokarna has beautiful beaches, clean sea and quiet, you can just enjoy this life. I used to think this is what heaven looks like.
