Today is May 1, International Labor Day. If you are not a slacker, then I congratulate you, it is your holiday too! When I lived in the big country of the USSR, we had socialism, and on this day people would go out on the streets, dress in festive clothes, walk through the city center, congratulate each other, and then go home, gather with friends, have a feast and sing songs. But now we have capitalism, people sit at home and don't sing songs. Times have changed so much that people even have to cover their mouths with armbands, like in this humorous photo, where the armbands say "Peace, Labor, May".
