Good Morning

Continuing from yesterday, the rains were kind on our city today too. I couldn’t stay at home, so I went out anyway. I was lucky that the rain stopped just a couple of minutes before I stepped out. The roads were wet but the weather was pretty pleasant.

The roads were too wet for me to run. Now that I was out, I went for a walk instead. I did a brisk walk for fifty minutes. I think I covered about two-and-a-half kilometers. After running for so long, walking felt so slow and boring. I had to run. Maybe, tomorrow.

What else happened in the morning schedule?

Prior to the run, I had done a small round of warmup with my dumbbells. It was a five-minute routine that included bicep curls, shoulder lifts, and triceps presses. And then I was good to go out. After I returned from my run, I focused on my arms, shoulders, and back with my dumbbells. I skipped abs because the walk took care of it. I will still do some planks throughout the day. Let’s see how that pans out.

Once the weights were done, I did about fifteen minutes of meditation. It was a guided meditation so I went flat on the floor instead of sitting. And then, I fell asleep, only to get up after an hour. 😊 No regrets, though.

Finally, I completed the morning routine with a session of Ho’oponopono. Here is my write-up on the topic for those wanting to know more about Ho'oponopono.

Have fun reading and practicing.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.

Namaste.

😊

Did You Know?

About a year back, I had written about the abdominal plank record belonging to George Hood of the USA. The timing was an impressive and astounding 8 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds. What is even more astounding is that this is not the record anymore.

Daniel Scali of Australia is the new abdominal plank record holder. Daniel stayed in the plank position for 9 hours 30 minutes and 1 second. That’s more than an hour over the previous record.

Both George and Daniel are people to look up to, as George was 62 years old when he made his record, while Daniel has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), leaving his left arm in constant pain!

Respect!
