Good Morning

We got a few dry days amidst the continuous rains over the past few weeks. Although the monsoons arrived late, it has done its bit. The seven water-supplying lakes around the city are at 80% full, while four have overflown. So, I guess the monsoons have taken a hard-earned break. 😊

While that hasn’t changed my run schedule, it definitely has allowed for faster runs on dry roads. Today was a good run. I will talk about it in a moment. I used to try out subliminal earlier, but not much in the last four years. A few days back I started again, and I can feel the difference. It is indeed a good one. I plan to use it for as long as I need it.

Anyway, how was my exercise schedule today?

I had gone to sleep yesterday night listening to my playlist of subliminals. In the morning, I started with the subliminal followed by meditation for half an hour. It was about 6:15 a.m. when I left for the run. I managed a four-kilometer run. I admit that it felt a lot longer because of the warmer weather. On my return, I did encounter the slightest possible drizzle that could hardly get the roads wet. I was safe.

Once home, I got on with my dumbbells, focusing on my arms and shoulders. I will use weights again during the day and as I get breaks from my work. The morning schedule is not complete without a few sessions of Ho’oponopono. Here is my write-up on the topic for those wanting to know more about Ho'oponopono.

Have fun reading and practicing.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.

Namaste.

😊

Did You Know?

About a year back, I had written about the abdominal plank record belonging to George Hood of the USA. The timing was an impressive and astounding 8 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds. What is even more astounding is that this is not the record anymore.

Daniel Scali of Australia is the new abdominal plank record holder. Daniel stayed in the plank position for 9 hours 30 minutes and 1 second. That’s more than an hour over the previous record.

Both George and Daniel are people to look up to, as George was 62 years old when he made his record, while Daniel has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), leaving his left arm in constant pain!

Respect!
