Fitness: 23rd October 2022 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

I am on my first day of vacation, and contrary to my belief, the place is quite cool. We had chosen this place over a few hill stations, and I was initially skeptical. I thought we might have to endure the October heat at the location. However, that was not the case.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the location cool enough. It was a pleasant 19 degrees, and the best part was that even the afternoon Sun wasn't too bad. Ahh, what an experience!

But what about my exercise in the midst of all this?

Well, early morning, I did go out for a walk, and it could have been very well a run. I just refrained from a run because of the canine family residing close to our hotel. 😊 Who knows how they would react to me running. Anyway, the walk was good enough, but I couldn't measure the distance as I had no gadgets or even a mobile with me. I can only guess that it would have been about three kilometers long - not bad, considering it was still my vacation.

Once back at the hotel, I had a choice of using the hotel's gym. The timing was not working out for me, and I was not sure why they would keep such weird timing. Anyway, I decided to use my body weight for my exercises, which did a good job. My regimes included pushups, planks, Surya-namaskar, suicide drills, and more. It was a high-intensity workout, and I was pleased with what I did.

The best part was that all through the day, as we visited some exciting caves of Ajanta and Ellora, there would be more walks sprinkled in. Oh, how cool would that be! 😊 Before I wound up, I added some sessions of Ho'oponopono. Here is my write-up on the topic for those wanting to know more about Ho'oponopono.

Did You Know?

Okay, this is one of the unexpected records but interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.

Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.
