Good Morning

Alright, I have been enjoying Saturday night a lot. I went to sleep quite late and was not sure I would be up for my walk or run. But I surprised myself by getting up. That was one of the achievement moments of my life. 😊 You know when you don't believe you would be doing something and end up doing it – this was that feeling.

So, once I got up, I peeked through the window, and lo and behold, the rains were pouring their hearts out. It was a heavy downpour, the likes of which a raincoat or umbrella could not keep out.

Did I get out, then?

Yeah, I decided to go out still. After all, it is just the rains. But I wore my rubber footwear and not the regular running ones. The umbrella was my other accessory as I stepped out. Trust me, the way the rains were on, it was in no mood to let anyone go. I was happy that I did not carry my mobile or wallet. It took just about ten minutes for me to be drenched waist down. In all this, my walk was completely fun. I walked three kilometers to-and-fro. It was all worth it!

At home, I gave weights and other training a break. I did manage to squeeze in a few Ho'oponopono sessions. Here's my write-up on the topic for those interested in knowing about Ho'oponopono.

Did You Know?

Okay, this is one of the unexpected records but interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.

Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.
