Hi guys , i hope everyone is having a great time today, prior to writing this article i had a liitle arguement with a friend of mine about how developers would be the millionares in years to come which prompted me to list a few ways developers can make a seven to six figure just by sitting on their desk, facing their computers.

Here are a few the first one is going to be the most obvious which is,

1: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPER (working for a company)

This is usually the most common route you get a job as a developer in a company whether yourself taught or you went to a bootcamp, you start filling out applications and attend a whole shit load of interviews, as far as you are making money it’s not a bad idea. As for how much you had made it really depends on where you are if you are in the US you could make as much as $70k to $150k a year which is not a bad idea as long as your making money from what you love.

2: FREELANCING/CLTING

You could freelance on the side but it can get time consuming if you are trying to freelance and work for a company at the same time so i would advise you to do one of the other but also you could start as a freelancer. Freelancing gives you more freedom to work at your own pace and choose and decline which work you want, but it’s difficult because you have to be willing to take risk because you dont know if you are going to make a ton of money this month or not. To get started you could start with a bunch of sites like, Upwork.com Fiver.com

As you first start you probably would make scrubs as most people usually do but as you take more jobs and build your portfolio your earning increase as time goes on.

3: BLOGGING

It’s a type of content creation, its writing you dont have to be a great writer to start a blog you just have offer good content. It could be written tutorial type post or you could be talking about new technology, new frame works or whatever it might be now when you start a blog it’s also not going to make money for you immediately as other, it takes a lot of time and dedication and one thing i would say is having a social media present so you would want to do that with all of this. If you have a social media present you could promote your blog and your product. As far as making money with your blog you could use Ads and links to other people’s product and make a junk from their own sells and also look for sponsors.

4: RUNNING A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

Obviously, this is not for everybody because not everyone wants to be on camera or even do screen cast, you could create tutorials and help people out and also creating little projects that nobody would be telling you to make, it’s very freeing to do what you want and have people watch it. I would say dont start a YouTube channel for the monetary gain because you would be very disappointed, it takes a very long time just make a freaking $50 a month instead start it as something you enjoy doing.

 5: DIGITAL PRODUCTS

digital products can mean a lot of things it could be content like E-book, courses, web- apps, mobile apps, plugins for word-press and shopify other platforms. People make a lot of money just doing word- press templates there are a lot of thing as long as you can build it and sell. You could take your skill and create something that other people would need or would be a solution to other people’s needs. So digital products are definitely things you could do on the side with your main job example of digital products you could sell you could build plugins for word-press Create a scraping bot etc.

Thank you for your time as always

peace and love .
