What is Torum?
Torum is a project I have been posting on personally a bit as of late. It reminds me of a Twitter-like network that is hyper-focused on cryptocurrencies and blockchain tech.
Torum describes itself as:
A cryptocurrency-powered social media designed to form a powerful ecosystem by bridging the social gap between blockchain-based entities and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
Other than allowing users to showcase their unique crypto identities, TORUM also includes various features and functionalities:
Torum also features clans which function as communities within the ecosystem. This is where people can post about and discuss related topics through either posts or the chat system.
Then there are company profiles. Company profiles are exactly what they sound like. It's a spot where you can find detailed information about different projects and get some of the latest news about them as well!
Torum also has it's own token, XTM. XTM is the ERC-20 utility token of the ecosystem which serves as the backbone of both TORUM and XTORUM with extended versatility, thus powering the entire ecosystem. The image above shows some of the current and future uses of XTM.
Overall, it seems like an interesting and well-designed project. So, I'm going to keep building up my stack of tokens while I can because you never know!
