A story of Inspiration
As a music lover person, I love watching videos about music especially in dancing and singing covers or singing performance on shows or competition.
While browsing videos on youtube, I suddenly stumble on this video of a girl who joined the America's Got Talent and got a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell. It was posted 1 day ago and it already reached millions of views, so I got curious.
I watched the 7-minute video and it literally give me goosebumps. It was a story about a young lady named Jane Marczewski, also known as Nightbirde who has been battling cancer for 4 years. During her interview before her performance, she revealed that she had "some cancer" in her lungs, spine and liver. She also shared that she only have 2% of living, and that 2% is 2%, it's not a 0%. She was asked if she is okay, and this is her reply.
Well, Not in every way, no. It's important that everyone knows I'm so much more than the bad things that happened to me.

After the interview, she sang her own song entitled "It's okay". This song is about her journey for the last year of her life. These lines from the song captured my interest.
It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay
If you're lost, we're all a little lost and it's alright
After her performance, Simon Cowell describe it as "absolutely stunning" and then give her the golden buzzer. But after a month of her performance, she announced that she wouldn't be able to move on to the live show due to her health. Since then, her fans followed her journey through her social media accounts.
February 19, 2022, at the age of 31, Nightbirde bid her last farewell. But before her last breath, she made her farewell video which touched the hearts of her fans as well as the AGT family.
Another line from her that I will never forgot is You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore, before you decide to be happy.
Sometimes, in our life, we tend to be so dramatic over little things that happened to us. We carry all the burdens and suffer.
I know that everyone of us is unsurprisingly experiences different kinds of situation but have we ever thought of just giving up? or we live our life like there's no tomorrow?
Being happy should not be a decision to be made, it should naturally comes within us. I believe that the most easiest emotion we can ever exercise is happiness. Despite the times that we are lost, it's okay, it's alright because everything will be healed.
The story of Nighbirde tells us that even in the most difficult endeavor, we should always be happy. Imagine, having these deadly cells in our body that tells you you're death, but Nightbirde still managed to inspire us and make us happy, so who are we to complain about unpaid taxes, debts, or such things?
I believe that it is our perceptions that makes us different from one another, but we can influence them just like what Nightbirde did. She never expected that her story will shake the hearts of netizens, but as a result, it inspired everybody.
Sometimes, you have these endeavors to teach you a lesson and to let you teach others their lessons. It's always a two or more way around. Never settle on a single page belief because a every page of a book holds a meaningful meaning and mission.
How about you? What makes you inspired?
She had a very nice voice and her story was very inspirational for those who are suffering and felt like no hopes at all.
