When the Love is gone

This is a sad story of a couple who end their relationship years after being together.

April 2008

Andy,16,simple girl who dreams of becoming an IT consultant after college graduation. Simple young minded. NBSB. Active youth leader in their town.

Josh,21, Automotive student, focus on finishing studies to give back to his family who support his studies. Active wild mind(exaggerated). Not loyal to his past relationships. Never want to have long term relationships. SK basketball/volleyball player.

They meet during basketball tournament as Andy being the committee chairperson and Josh being the Team Captain. Most of their colleagues teases them because they are a cute pair if they become a couple. Andy didn't mind their blabbering because she is more focused in the committee and the participants while Josh just go with the flow whatever their friends told.

After a series of games they've been into together Josh made a move on Andy but she declined it telling him to ask permission from her parents first for she is still a teenager. Josh being dumped for the first time is in range telling himself why hes being dumped with a handsome face of his being dumped by a not so pretty face of her.

Thinking hard whether to continue on making a move on her or to give up and accept the shame teasing of the group. He decided to go to Andy's house and meet her parents for the first time.

Nervous. He is sweating liters. But he continue and asked for permission to court her daughter Andy. And to his surprise her parents give him the GO sign and a double thumbs up. While Andy in the kitchen couldn't contain her happiness from it.

Days, Weeks, Month have passed before get the YES from Andy and he is just so happy. It was his first time being this dedicated to a girl and promises himself not to hurt her for he is Andy's first love. He'll never broke her heart he promised to himself.

Years passed and they still together. Yes they encountered problems a couple normally had(jealousy/no time/studies) but they all conquered it together and resolved it immediately.

Josh graduated ahead of Andy and he is in search of jobs related to his course. But he can't hardly find a job that's why he goes working extras on any job affordable. While Andy is in school they always communicates.

By the time Andy graduated she applies for a job and get hired on the spot while Josh is still finding stable jobs and doing extras to make income. Ego hit him when Andy is doing well although he is happy for her.

4 years passed and they're still together

Andy became busy and have no spare time while Josh spends his time doing extra works and waiting for Andy to get home after her tiring work at the office.

Overworked hit Andy a lot that she has no time even for Josh which makes it a big issue between them.And Josh really misses Andy a lot but she can't spare time for her.

Driving himself crazy because of loneliness and boredom he decided to stay at his sister's rented place and stay there for a couple of months just to get his mind out from loneliness. There he met Gina who's a tenant also and they became friends. He tells Gina everything including his crashing relationship with Andy. They drink together most of the time and then it happened.

Waking up and regrets overflow, he went back home and went to Andy's house surprisingly she's off work and been calling him for days but he didn't answer. He suddenly kneel down on his knees and ask for forgiveness because he did something unforgivable to Andy. He tells her everything and Andy's in shock.How could Josh do this to her? But because Andy love Josh she forgave him.

Months passed and Gina suddenly showed up in front of Andy's house telling her that Josh is the father of her child and Josh has been hanging out with her lately. Dumbfounded, Andy fall onto the floor and weep her heart out. Why is this happening to her? Is it because she doesn't have more time with Josh that he did this? why does he have to apologize if he will do this again and again behind her back? so many questions left hanging unanswered but a child is in the picture so she gave up.

Telling Gina that Josh will be their and she will not get in the way. That was the hardest thing she ever did and she shut herself from other people.

Her parents and most of the people who knows them as a couple put all the blame on Andy. They always told that Andy's the reason why Josh find another girl for she doesn't have time for Josh and maybe she judge Josh over being unemployed. But Andy never said a thing about Josh employment status. Andy just accept all the hurtful words from them for they don't know anything.

Months after Gina showed up, Josh came by Andy's house. She can see that Josh changed, well they both changed, they looked pale and thin. but Andy can see no love from Josh's eyes and that really hurt her.

No sorry's and excuses Josh told her that he will never see her again. He broke her promise and it is a shame for him so he will not make any move for forgiveness and told Andy to move on.

Andy just nod and looked down. She has questions but she already lose so there's no need to recuperate.

After that incident Josh never showed up and Andy had to go through the pain and recovery alone.

Whose as fault? Andy or Josh?
