Wonderful 6 months and counting…
“You lift my feet on the ground, spin me around…you make me crazier, crazier...”
They say, when you fall in love you give the best that you can be and see the world filled with unending smiles and journey, unimaginably. After what happened in Baguio, Joj and Steve are finally in a relationship. They have found the love missing in their hearts to each other. Joj is happy as puffy clouds could be, she is smiling lightly. She feels the love. She is contented.
Likewise, Steve is also at the happiest moment of his life. He gives the true meaning of love to Joj. He appreciates how big or small things especially for the eyes of his woman. He consistently gives the attention, affection, and love that Joj truly deserves at its finest. As the months went happier, their relationship becomes firmer no one could ask for.
The housing project is finally finished. Everyone feels joyous because the project is successfully done. Joj and Steve had decided to announce their relationship on the upcoming blessing and thanksgiving for a job well done! All of the teams are heading back home to rest and spend time for the family. Steve spends nights in Manila for his continuous treatments. Even though Joj wants to stay by his side but Steve insists that she must check and stick around to her family especially that someone in her life will coming back. Steve drove Joj to Pampanga, Joj feels that this is the right time for his family to finally get to know him. After 2 and half hours, Steve meets her family. Joj’s family accepts and treats Steve as official part of the family. They are all happy especially Steve, he feels the love like Mr. Williamford gave to him back then.
The on-going treatments of Steve make him feel suffocated and exhausted. Every night, he is experiencing nightmares that bring the pieces of his life before. Since he went back in the Philippines, a woman who is constantly appeared in his dreams become even more mysterious of what was truly happened to him before.
Joj is about to leave in the office when unidentified number is calling. The voice seems a woman who gives instructions to see her near in Ayala. To determine who and what her purpose is, Joj went to the address that woman texted to her. She goes there and call the number again. A certain phone rings and she turns her head back. Joj is surprised on what she saw,
A woman with long hair, tight eyes and gorgeous facial features suddenly hugs her, “I miss youuuu, Joj!!!”
“Woaaaaah, Trisha? Is it really you?? How?” Joj replied with big hugs and smiles because it is Trisha, her childhood best friend, her other half.
The two are both joyful and the smiles put on their faces are obviously contagious and how excited they are to see and talk each other. Like they life before, Joj and Trisha did the unending laughs, corny jokes, silly dance moments, talk about their life-lessons and problems, and many more.
“By the way, how long will you stay here?”
Trisha answered, “Hmm, siguro 2 to 3 months or less. After the monitoring, I should go back then to develop as well to promote the clothing business.”
“You really looked busy but ang laki na ng nagbago sayo Trish, your way of living, your appearance, the way you talk and everything. Samantalang ako, heto, kumakayod pa rin para maiahon ang pamilya sa hirap.”
“Ano ka ba Joj!! I am still the Trisha you have since the very first time we laughed so hard. Kahit marami ng nagbago, ako pa rin ‘to. Do not lose hope. Sabi ko naman sayo, if you and the family needs something, just call me right away. Always bear in mind that I am always here for you, Joj.”
“Aww, my favorite part. Iyakan session with my favorite bestie in the whole wooooorld!!”
“Walang magbabago Joj, kahit anong mangyari nandito ako.” “Anyway, you look pretty huh? Blooming ka, so who is the reason?” Trisha said teasingly.
“Yes. I finally met himmmm, Trish!”
“Who? Si Mr. Kilay?? The one you talked about a year ago? Can I meet the two of you before I leave PH? Syempre gusto ko naman makilala at pagbantaan yung napakaswerteng lalaki sa buhay ng kaibigan ko. I am so happy for you Joj!”
“Thank you, Trish. Of course, ipapakilala ko talaga siya sayo. Maybe in some other day kapag hindi na siya busy. How about you? It’s been a long time since you mentioned your love life.”
“Hmm, papano ko ba ikukwento, It’s –” *Trisha’s phone suddenly rings*
“Ow, I forgot the time. I have to go Joj. May meeting nga pala ako ng 1pm, let’s have another catch on the next day?”
“Sure, sureeee. No worries, Trish!! Message mo ako kapag nakauwi ka na. Take care of yourself. See youuuu.” Trisha and Joj bid kisses and hugs that manifest of seeing each other again.
The time runs so fast and everyone in the company works hard in order to manage the upcoming event properly. The event objectifies the opening of the housing plan and give each house to specific beneficiary. Furthermore, this event will express gratitude for the people who supported them throughout the journey, and the highlight is that everyone in the company will see and recognize the major investor who is behind the housing plan. So, all of the people make sure that nothing will be forgotten to make the event successful.
