Just imagine — be sure to read Imagine you were born in 1900. When you were 14, World War I began and ended when you were 18, and it was announced that there were a total of 22 million dead. Shortly afterwards, a global pandemic - the flu called "Spanish" - killed 50 million people. You come out alive and unharmed, you are 20 years old. At the age of 29, you are surviving the global economic crisis that began with the collapse of the New York Stock Exchange, causing inflation, unemployment and hunger. At the age of 33, the Nazis came to power. You are 39 years old when World War II begins and ends when you are 45 years old. During the Holocaust, 6 million Jews were recorded to die. In total, there will be over 60 million deaths. When you are 52, the Korean War begins. When you are 64, the war in Vietnam begins and ends when you are 75. Imagine that you were born in 1985 and you think that your grandparents have no idea how hard life is, and they have survived various wars and catastrophes. A boy born in 1995 and now 25 years old thinks the end of the world is when his Amazon package takes more than three days or when he doesn't get more than 15 'likes for his photo posted on Facebook or Instagram In 2020, many of us live in comfort, have access to various sources of entertainment at home, and often have more than we need. But people complain about everything. Yet they have electricity, telephone, food, hot water and a roof over their heads. None of this has existed in the past. But humanity has survived far more difficult circumstances and has never lost the joy of living. autor>Natasa Perun
