The history of Balete Drive, Quezon City. Philippines, has a resident ghost which any people can tell you about.
Their famous "White Lady" ghost mostly haunts motorists in the middle of the night or in the midnight hours. They learned that don't stare at their rear-views mirror when on that road.
They say that the White Lady ghost means "harbinger of death" or a "revenger ghost" a ghost that wants the living feel of what she suffer because her death. This not means that all women or ghost wearing white will cause harm, but rather most of them is bad.
In many places around the world or Philippines specially, you will hear a "White Lady" ghost. Generally foun in rural areas, mostly along roadsides. These kind of ghost are normally kinds of women who died from a sadistic kind of murder, with the body left being tortured or raped.
Balete Drive is named becauseof the Balete Tree that is srandingwin the middle of the street. Although the tree is no longer there, there still some big balete trees and many century old Spanish houses. They said that these houses are haunted because of the previuos occupants.
Balete Drive is one of the famous White Lady ghost you can read about. It is the 1950's stories of a woman appearing and disappearing along the road, and also in peoples car. As the peiplww that seen the White Lady many times, no one knows the name of the woman in white. But two stories are told who she could be. Fhe first one, they say it was a young woman who died in a car accident after crashing into a roadside Balete Tree. The second one, they say that the woman was raped by a taxi driver that is why most of the victim of White Lady is taxi drivers.
As of now, there is no news about the White Lady in that Baletr Tree because the tree is no longer there.

I don't think I believe in ghost though many stories abound of some people dying and coming back in human form. It's to me a tale to experience
