I got myself No.5 Hocus Matchs-cus! It is creamy in texture with mild sweetness, and most importantly, it has that bitter aftertaste and rich aroma of the matcha, which I really really love! 💚 Hitting all my sweet spots cause I personally dislike ice cream/dessert that is too sweet.

Juicy BBQ Pork Belly @ Hanam BBQ Restaurant - Segambut, Kuala Lumpur
Ssam (쌈) is one of my favorite Korean dishes. Ssam means "wrapped" in Korean language. It uses leafy vegetables e.g. lettuce to wrap a piece of meat, and is often accompanied by a condiment known as ssamjang sauce (mainly made of fermented soybeans and red chili paste) and can also be topped with raw garlic, green pepper, or kimchi.
Me and my friends ordered a set of pork belly, steamed eggs with flying fish roe, kimchi stew, and kimchi fried rice.
The pork belly is the bomb! It tasted soooooo good! So juicy and crunchy! 😋It's not too oily/dry/hard, as compared to the usual pork BBQ I had at other Korean restaurants. The original flavor of the pork wins it all! It doesn't look like it's marinated with sauce, so the chef has definitely done some magic to these innocent-looking pork bellies. Haha!

Bringing my parents for traveling has always been one of the things I want to do. So happen we will be in Terengganu state for a week, I decided to bring my parents to Redang Island since they had never been to this place before.
Redang Island (or Pulau Redang in Malay) is located 45km off the east coast of Kuala Terengganu state in Malaysia. It is a 5-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. Then, another 50 mins drive from Kuala Terengganu to Merang Jetty and followed by a 40 mins bumpy boat ride to the island. Yup, it's a 6+ hours journey in total haha!
Redang island has a very beautiful turquoise sea. With the help of the blue sky, it makes a pretty scenic view. Such soul-calming colors. 💙
Andddd, it's so nice to listen to the sound of the beach waves again.
I guess staying in the city for so long, my heart misses the sound and smell of the nature. :)
Scrumptious (and Affordable) Italian Food @ Luretta D.O.P Italian Deli, Lot 10 KL.
Went downtown to celebrate 2 friends' belated birthdays two Saturdays ago. This place is owned by Italian chefs and highly recommended by a friend of mine, who is a frequent customer there. We ordered:
1) Spaghetti with homemade pesto sauce (RM28)
Tasted fine for me as the pesto sauce is not too overwhelmingly strong.
2) Gnocchi with Spicy Puttanesca Sauce (RM 30)
- My first time eating this wiggly worm-like dough, which they called gnocchi. Interesting alternative from the regular spaghetti as a base! But the Puttanesca Sauce is a bit sour to my liking.
3) Lasagna D.O.P with Pork Ragu (RM 26) -> My fav #1!
- The red bolognese sauce and grounded pork taste so good together with the soft lasagna sheets in between. Very flavorful and appetizing! Definitely will order this if I come again!
4) Truffle Bruschetta (RM22)
- The bruschettas are crunchy and topped with a generous amount of truffle sauce. If you're a fan of truffles, you should give this a go!
5) Tiramisu with Whiskey Cream (RM29) -> My fav #2!
- The tiramisu combo with whiskey tasted so gooooood! Very nice balance of being a bit sweet with a touch of bitterness. I don't usually crave dessert, but I do really like this!

Had an evening walk to this beautiful park near my house few days ago.
The landscape and facilities have improved so much in the recent years. There are 2 covered basketball courts now!
Love capturing scenery photos especially gradient color skies. They blend so well and are so beautiful to my eye.
Step outside and smell some fresh air whenever you're able to. It works wonder to your overall physique. :)
