Bringing my parents for traveling has always been one of the things I want to do. So happen we will be in Terengganu state for a week, I decided to bring my parents to Redang Island since they had never been to this place before. Redang Island (or Pulau Redang in Malay) is located 45km off the east coast of Kuala Terengganu state in Malaysia. It is a 5-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. Then, another 50 mins drive from Kuala Terengganu to Merang Jetty and followed by a 40 mins bumpy boat ride to the island. Yup, it's a 6+ hours journey in total haha! Redang island has a very beautiful turquoise sea. With the help of the blue sky, it makes a pretty scenic view. Such soul-calming colors. 💙 Andddd, it's so nice to listen to the sound of the beach waves again. I guess staying in the city for so long, my heart misses the sound and smell of the nature. :)
