Roast meat stalls are quite commonly found in most non-halal food courts in Malaysia. They often sell roasted pork, barbequed pork, roasted chicken, steamed chicken and roasted duck as their main dish. And to complete the standard set meal, they will add some cucumber slices, rice / wantan noodles as the staple, and a bowl of scallion pepper soup as the side. I ordered a plate of Roasted Pork with Braised Tofu and Eggs for lunch a few days ago. It's quite rare to find braised tofu and egg in roast meat stalls like this. So when I saw it, I instantly ordered it as an extra side dish for my lunch. Part of it was also because I like braised tofu and egg. 😄 Love the crispiness of the roasted pork skin! The layers of lean meat and fats in between are well-balanced and not greasy. Meanwhile, the braised tofu and egg are not too bad as well. If only both are immersed in braised soy sauce while it's cooked, the inner part of the tofu and egg will taste equally flavorful as the sauce. Haha, just my personal preference. Still a yummylicious lunch overall! Burrrpppp~ 😋
