Every September 11, it is remembered with nostalgia and sadness. Nineteen years have passed since the tragic event that had an impact worldwide, and it was the collapse of the Twin Towers in the World Trade Center complex in Manhattan, New York City in the United States.
The construction of the two buildings began in 1966 and these were inaugurated in 1973, although the work was completed in 1975. The creator of the Twin Towers is the late architect Minuro Yamasaki.
Each tower had 110 floors and was one of the tallest buildings in the place. It should be noted that this event occurred in the early hours of the morning by two planes hijacked by personnel who received orders from Osama Bin Landen, intellectual actor of the horrible feat.

Currently in the place, there is a building with 102 floors and in it are shops, restaurants, it has two huge water fountains, as well as a museum in honor of the victims, and a transport center.
