Top 5 music - April, 2024

Greetings friends of the community, we are back with our usual count of the most listened of each month, this being April, the fourth month of the year -no doubt time goes by very fast. A count that is based on data from my official LastFM account. So without further ado, let's get started.

Most listened artists

1- Yoko Kanno

Prodigious artist who manages to perform in all musical genres, being she sometimes performer or composer but also producer for anime soundtracks: Cowboy Bebop, Esclaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, among others.

Country of origin: Japan.

2- Blur

One of the best bands of the English new wave of the 90s of the 20th century, but despite this, they did not manage to break into the U.S. market, something that today can be corroborated by watching their presentation at Coachella festival, which was held in that country, where no matter how much effort the band and even the singer himself made to enliven the atmosphere, the public did not offer the same response.

Country of origin: England.

3- Giuseppe Verdi

Classical music composer of the 19th century who produced many compositions, especially Requim.

Country of origin: Italy.

4- Velvet Revolver

They have already made their appearance in this count placing themselves in other positions, but, without a doubt, this band deserves to be listened to as many times as possible.

Country of origin: United States of America.

5- The Hives

It's been many years since I've listened to this band, and even though it's been so long, I must say that their songs have aged very well.

Country of origin: United States of America.

Have to agree that 4th place is actually the positioning of track Hash Pipe which is part of that album; listening to that song so many times that it registered that way.
