The two visions of Venezuela in the face of its permanent problems

Lately, I have been thinking about the severe crisis in which the Venezuelan society is immersed and which many already know about. And such a situation seems to have no end and it is affecting in some way the people inside Venezuela as well as those abroad.

Talking about this is not easy for those who suffer from it and try to explain it less because to be understood feelings of rage and impotence arise, but for others it may be narrated in a direct and simple way because they repress their emotions or have to ignore parts of the facts. But what is certain is that problems still persist in all areas because the government is not interested in attending to society, and among these problems we can cite the high levels of corruption among security agencies, the lack of constant electricity supply or without any shocks in voltage levels that prevent them from fatally affecting electrical equipment, the closure of many businesses or companies, and a long etc.; in addition to all this we must add the lack of serious and responsible alternative proposals contrary to the government.

But within all this chaotic panorama there are those who wish to see the positive side arguing that the country is improving compared to previous years when there was no food to buy or when there was, people had to wait in line to be given a limited amount due to the limited food production, now you can get such products both imported and domestic but at prices that can compete with first world countries. Others say that there are improvements due to the opening of new businesses; or that private companies are paying in dollars (which in the best of cases can reach $100) to their employees every month.

And with what has been said above it is not enough not to see the internal reality but also the external reality regarding all those Venezuelans who have left and continue to leave the country even on foot not only throughout South America but also having the United States as their destination point, With a route that has become so problematic that many countries that are part of the route that Venezuelans must travel are demanding visas when passing through those places, so they have had to leave by illegal means leaving their lives exposed to the adversities they may encounter as is the famous Rio Grande, in which there are already reports of people who have died for having to cross it. And this leads me to think that maybe this exodus of people out of the country has ironically helped to lighten and reassure the big cities or towns in Venezuela, giving a sense of calm and apparent tranquility that deceives anyone.

The truth is that the country has changed and is no longer the same as in previous years and will not be again, Venezuela is still trapped in a metamorphosis with its national and conceptual identity of how it should be a country governed by institutions and citizens committed to their nation.

Finally, I apologize if at any time this publication does not maintain coherence or any sense but I have done my best despite being ill at the moment.

Without further ado, I will see you in a future installment. See you later.

5The situation in Venezuela is complex. A lot of corruption and inflation. In spite of everything, the crisis has had a kind of respite. Currently it is not as strong as in previous years where products such as milk, diapers and corn flour were not available. Thanks for sharing your post with us. Regards

Yes, my friend. This situation is very complex and I suspect that the escape valve so far has been Colombia. And thanks for commenting. Regards.
